• Clean, comfortable, everything necessary provided without unnecessary frills. Liked filter coffee in the room.
• Breakfast service a bit haphazard. Check in slow. Prior parking information would have helped.

“Good value for money, would happily stay again. English breakfast available for an extra charge. Staff friendly and as helpful as they could be. Room could possibly be too warm in high summer.”

• Conveniently located with freshly decorated, small, functional rooms at an excellent rate for the area.
• There was no bar and thus no communal meeting area available for the evening.

“I have stayed here several times in the past and found it to be of a consistent standard. The rooms are small, but functional, clean and freshly decorated. There is no bar or restuarant in the hotel and thus you need to go out to meet up with colleagues”

• Desk staff were friendly.
• I asked for a twin and got a double.
  Hotel ran out of honey at breakfast on the second day.
  The dirtiest windows I can remember seeing in a hotel bedroom.

• Convenient loacation: in Chelsea and close to a tube station
• The bathroom seems to have been renovated, but not the plumbing yet.
  I got hot water only, too hot for shower (no cold water).

“It's a good bargain in expensive London. Convenient for theatres and shopping. You go out all day, so it doesn't matter much if the room is charming or not. All you care is it's clean. Hope the bed is more comfortable and stains on the carpet be removed. Ask a room upstais, not the one in the basement where I stayed.”

• Good location, quiet but close to tube. Good value for money
• Single room was a bit small. Mini fridge wasn't working properly.

“I wouldn't have been comfortable staying for more than 1 night in the single room but the location and price made up for that for a short stay.”

• Room a little small

“Good location - a few minites walk from the Underground, neat and clean room, if slightly small (but better than many elsewhere), good continental breakfast included, pleasant staff.”

• Dirty, smelly, extremely tiny room.

“The room that I stayed in did not look like the pictures on the website. I booked a non-smoking room and was assigned a very dirty, smelly smoking room. The width of the room was the width of a bed. The bathroom was so tiny you could not dry yourself in there after a shower. The carpet in the room was so dirty I did not want to put my bare feet on it.”

“I was unsure about my booking after reading some complaints from previous, but for this great price the room was updated, nice, clean, great bathroom with hot,wonderful shower. Yes, it is the size of a dorm room, but i didn't mind. Nice breakfast area and location was very convenient to the gloucester tube stop. There was a dryer in the room. Liked that you could use the internet at the front desk for 3 pound per 1/2 hour. High, but a nice option. Appreciated the elevator after walking all day. Only omplaint is carpets were starting to look dirty. Desk had honor my email request for 2 single next to eachother.”

• Excellent location, lovely hotel for a small amount of money
• The 3 beded room, was too small for 3 adult people.

“When you book a room for three people, we didn't expect to get a dobbel bed room for two person with an extra bed! We wanted a familiy room of a room for three people which we also specified.

And we would have liked, as non smokers, to have been given the choice of a non smokeing bedroom. This was clearly not a non-smokers bedroom!”
