Holiday Inn HeidelbergPleikartsfoerster Strasse 101, Heidelberg, GermanyHeidelberg - romantic and dynamic, with its roots in the past but looking towards the future. The city seems to have no problem in unifying what would seem to be absolute contrasts.[more]

“We were just told from the beginning that there was no elevator (there was in the adjacent building) and had no help with our luggage going up two flights of stairs. Also, after asking twice about the parking, we were told just to get a receipt each time we went out. We were not able to get out of the parking lot and after going back into the hotel, we were told we needed to pay for the parking in advance, which, of course, of which we not advised. After a advertisement for five different types of pillows in the hotel, we were informed by the first individual when checking in that there was only one extra pillow available when we asked about extra pillows. At the time we requested two pillows, we were told there was only one available. The next day we requested an extra pillow and one was delivered immediately.”

“The hotel was decent in cleanliness. It's not as close to Heidelberg as one would hope (at least not city center). You couldn't get to the center of city by walking, this was disappointing. The area it's located in is very business, and not residential. Only close option to eat was the hotels facility, no local places close by.”

“Hotel was near the bus line into Heidelberg. It was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Check-in was efficient. We were not aware there was free coffee for guests until we were leaving. The cost of everything (internet connection was 10 Euro for one hour and restaurant was very expensive) was disappointing for a Holiday Inn.”

“This was on ok hotel. Two bus lines take you to the vicinity of the hotel, one of which does not run on Sundays. The queen size bed took up 90% of the space in the room. Hotel was quiet but is located next to a gas station/convenience store.”
