• The hotel restaurant and staff were very good.
• No alarm clock in the room, shower had minimal water pressure.

“A great hotel for the traveler stopping in before a flight. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the airport which is convenient but they still charge 3 pounds per person to get there which is a bit annoying for how close it is. Rooms are simple but comfortable and the hotel restaurant and bar is a great place to relax and get a bite to eat after a long day of traveling!”

• The location and price, comfortable bed and all the comforting amenities.
• The walls seemed really thin.

“It was extremely convenient for the short stay I needed, which required me to be near Gatwick. It was a good value for the money (59 pounds for one night).”

• The hotel was only 10 minutes from the South Terminal and it was clean and spacious for a European or even an English hotel.
• The bus to the airport cost 2.5 quid per person. Not something that is spelled out on their website, so we were unprepared.

“Easy to find and comfortable to stay in. It's a short walk to the little town of Harley where you can find pub food. All in all, I'd use this hotel again for the price and the quality.”

• Reception staff were efficient and friendly. Prompt airport shuttle service.
• Poor room condition. Torn curtains, peeling wallpaper and quite small.

“If room condition had been better the overall stay would have been enhanced as staff were very courteous and friendly. Bar food was quite good.”

• Schlechte Parkm'glichkeit, Parkhaus vorhanden aber nberfnllt,RSumlichkeiten stark renovierungsbednrftig, akustische wahrnehmung vom Nebenzimmer - man kann jedes normal gesprochene Wort verstehen.

“Fnr eine _bernachtung am Flughafen um weiterzureisen gerade noch ausreichend. Es gibt mit Sicherheit besseres in der Umgebung.”
