• Very convenient to train station and sights.
• Poor service. Air conditioning was broken and unable to upgrade room. Only a fan was given.

“Unfriendly staff, not accommodating. Only a smelly and smaller room offered first night. Thus a fan was given. Second night was able to transfer to room with functional air conditioning. Excellent location.”

• It was classic and shabby chic.
• The smell of the room was horrible, and there was the biggest bird crap on the window.

“It was definitely a posh hotel at one point in its life, but age is taking a toll on it. However, the size of the rooms and bathrooms are huge, the bathrooms in particular are spotless, and the room service is tasty, and the people are polite. Free wifi would have been nice as well, but what can you do.”

• Comfy robes, big room.
• Staff was a little like Faulty Towers.

“Would do it again, but this is a big old hotel that could use a few more refurbishments and perks for the price.”
