• The staff was friendly.
• Nothing was not to my liking.

“I only stayed here for 4 hours because of a flight but they checked me in quickly, the room was very nice, and in the morning they let me use their phone, gave me an apple on the go since I wouldn't be able to stay for breakfast, and replaced my parking ticket for free since they knew I was only there a short time.”

“I've stayed at the Moat House on several occasions, all business related. I particularly like the location, real easy to get to the airport or anywhere else in the city. Parking is also very reasonable.



As a regular female traveler, I feel comfortable and safe in this hotel.

Meals are ok, but nothing special.”

• iron didn't work, no light in lift, faulty remote control, swimming costume not returned

• Good location, Good size room, Nice breakfast and good value for money.
• Decor could do with a refrsh in the room itself.

“In general the hotel suited our stay. Good level of customer service. General presentation throughout the hotel was very good although decor in our suite could have done with a refresh.
Evacuated at 1.30am due to a fire alarm, I wonder if the smoke alarm location within the room contributed to this.”

• spacious, clean with great views over the river clyde and glasgow
• the shower was hard to work

“very good hotel and an ideal base for visiting glasgow with many attractions nearby and with good public transport links. Although the staff were very professional and friendly the bar was very busy and took a long time to get served(not enough staff).”

• Modern up todate Hotel with Good Facilities.
• None

“I would recommend this Hotel, I found the room to be clean and tidy.
The carvery evening meal appeared to be good value for money. Although it could have been a little hotter, but it did not stop me going again the next evening.
The breakfast was always very good and I found the staff to be most helpful and obliging.”

• Hotel resturant inc. breakfast was very good.
• '17 per day for internet connection! This is OTT.

“Room fan heater/AirCon was very loud. Could not sleep with it running. Room did get very hot due to no opening windows. This led to a restless nights sleep.

Showerhead was broken.

Room delivered breakfast did not contain what I requested.

The staff were very friendly though my comments regarding the internet charge appeared to fall on deaf ears.”

• Good friendly service & breakfast choice.
• Check in was very slow, plenty of staff, but all seemed to be occupied.

“We enjoyed everything about our stay, the hotel had plenty of places of interest within the vicinity and although you needed to use public transport into the city centre, the links were good. Pre-booked meal for event was very good, along with the service. Overall we have no real complaints”

“Not what I would have expected from a 4 star hotel, rooms very basic and could have been cleaner. More a stop and go hotel not for long periods of stay. You also have to pay '2.00 each time you want to take your car out of the carpark - surely this should be free to residents, after all a lot of people were using it to go into town and attend football matches whilst not staying at the hotel.”

• Leisure facilities - pool, sauna, steam room etc were very good.
• Slow service in busy restaurant, especially at breakfasts. Rooms starting to look tatty, especially bathrooms.

“Restaurant was extremely busy, advance booking was essential to ensure a table. Club Moativation was excellent, facilities were good, staff were helpful.”

• Easy to find Good for secc Shopping nearby Parking
• dusty bedroom

“No major issues apart from the dust in some parts of the bedroom
bed very comfortable, clean towels and plenty of tea, coffee ect
staff all polite
We stay mainly for the fact that we enjoy our concerts at secc, great to park up, enjoy a few drinks before the show, and we don't have to outside!”

• Large room, duvet and room service
• Only got biscuits on day of arrival, extras on bill that didn't apply, incorrect room service orders

“A nice hotel with a good standard of accommodation. Often feels as though it is understaffed. You have to ensure that you receive the correct orders for food and that your bill is correct.”

• We were up for the Katie Melua concert, and found it and excellent base for touring other parts of the City.
• Ther were no points to dislike

• facilities and staff were good but very under staffed so therefore it put those there under pressure
• service in the resturant was poor because of under staffing
