• It is very posh; stylistically and aesthetically pleasing.
• Cold and sterile, nothing happening at the bar or restaurants.

“There are two halves to the hotel, and what they call "3rd party' reservations get treated as second class. I was expecting a 4 star hotel. We wanted a non smoking room with one king size bed. They told us the only one available was on the 1st floor with 2 twins, directly across from the conferences, even though the hotel was virtually empty but for airline employees. They said we could have a room with a king, but that would cost an additional $45 euros per night. They also informed us that if we wanted breakfast there was an additional cost and we would have to purchase it for the entire week. Because of the noise of the conference, they allowed us to change rooms the 2nd night, which was nice of them and the bed was a queen, so we were happier. It's close to the airport if that matters to you, but you need to take a bus into the heart of Geneva. We were fine with that since the hotel provides free vouchers for it. If money is no object, you may like this place. We found all the hidden costs prohibitive, and couldn't wait to get back to the Paris Marriott. But Geneva is nice, as are the people this place just seems geared for the corporate expense account folks who are not paying with their own money. You will not be disappointed if you are flying in and have your company's money to spend. Otherwise, find a nice hotel in town.”

• Extensive fitness facility.
• Better for business travelers than leisure travelers.

• Nice public areas. Nice location to airport.
• Staff wasn't that friendly. Asked for a fork and plate and the wanted to charge $10 for using it.

“The lobby is upscale but the rooms on the older side are lacking.”

• It is very close to the airport. Perfect if you have a early morning flight out.
• The business center computer cost used an hour and did not let you open more then one window at a time.

“Hotel exceeded my expectations. Most websites gave it a 3 star. This "3 star" was nicer then most 4 stars. Most 4 starts in Geneva cost over used a night while this hotel offers a night including breakfast if you book 14 days in advance. I used for this room and it worked out fine since I was just staying in Geneva for one night prior to catching a early flight out. But I only saved and did not get breakfast so this was the first time that I felt that I did not get a savings by using. The hotel is outside the city proper so is not idea for tourists, but is ideal if you want to be near the airport or convention center.”

• This is an airport hotel Very loud, no sleep!

• It was an overall horrible hotel experience.

• Convenient location for Airport, short walk to bus stop to get downtown.
• Beds were too soft and counterpane was stained and dirty.

“Close to the Airport, the Crown Plaza provides a good location for the business traveler. Overall, the rooms were clean, except the counterpanes which were grubby. The hotel is a short walk from a bus stop for those wishing to go downtown. It also provides complementary bus service to the Airport.”

• Everything I needed for a night stay was in the room.
• No shops in the hotel.

“Clean, almost a cold and sterile environment. A shuttle driver from the airport seemed not so professional, i.e., not very courteous. The room was very comfortable with a bath robe, TV and water boiler for coffee or tea.”

• Nothing.
• $30 euro cab one way to the downtown. hotel smells musty. we had a view of a wall. hallways are long and inconvenient. restaurant was closed.

“I do not recommend this place. It cost us an extra $100 per day in cabs to get to and from the downtown area. Restaurant was being redone. This is no 4**** choice. It would be a reasonable value at $40 per day including all taxes etc.”

• Nice and clean and easy access to center of Geneva.
• Internet Access was not free but EXPENSIVE.

“I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and it was conveniently located to the center of Geneva by way of a short 15 minute bus ride. Only drawback: Internet is not free and is quite expensive. Fortunately, I found a bar/coffee shop in the center of town that offered free wireless. Somewhat of an inconvenience but was manageable.”

• Work out facility and spa are world class...
• The location was not central to Geneva or convenient regarding public transportation.

“The hotel is clean, up to date and inviting. The workout facility and spa were world class. The rooms were nicely apportioned and very comfortable. The hotel bar was nice, but all restaurants were not open when I was there. The only significant drawback to the hotel was its location. I had to walk around a large convention center to get to and from the public transportation and in the evenings that can appear to be unsafe...”

“Very nice if spending a day while waiting for the plane. It is not near downtown, but it has a great spa, its a shame it is far away from the rooms so you might have to walk in bathrobe across the lobby.”

• There is no breakfast included.

“Hotel is within walking distance from the airport. Rooms are big and clean. Bathrooms have bath and separate shower. There is a free minibus traveling between the airport and hotel.”

• Rooms were nice, but not of same standard as other Crowne Plazas around the world.

“Very convenient to Geneva airport with free shuttle service. Nice facilities including pool/sauna/spa area and a fitness center. Ideal stay for business traveler.”

• Clean and well maintained. Good and helpful staffs. High quality.
• Access to public transportation is complicated. Parking is not free. The bed in the room sank in the middle.

“The hotel was good quality in general. Something I would expect from a four star hotel. They need to get new mattress since the one in my room sank in the middle.”

• Excellent hotel, for an airport hotel. Lobby and fitness center are good.
• Because of Christmas, many facilities were not available and no prior intimation was given. It was almost deserted during the period and no new year eve.

“Again, instead of giving a hotel in central area, airport hotel was given which had suspended several services. Anyway, good transport facility was available and we thoroughly enjoyed our overstaying from our room was very good and room and bathroom sizes were spacious.”

• Mark, the concierge was incredible and helped us out a lot.
• It was a little out of the way, not within walking distance of the city center.

“It was a great, hip hotel with an excellent staff. It would be perfect for the business traveler with the location near the airport, but for the leisure traveler it is a little out of the way to the city center.”
