• warm, friendly atmosphere - loved the decor in reception and lobby,extremely friendly and very professional young waiting staff.
• would have preffered a duvet to blankets, but that is just a personal choice, the room was very comfortable and cozy.

“Bedroom patio door opened on to expansive garden, in a beaautiful location. The food is absolutely excellent, of the best I'v ever had, staff are very helpful and homely and the leasure facilities are gorgeous. The hotel is easy to get to - i just loved it. Lots of parking, very comfortable accomodation, the smoking lounge could benefit from a fan or some kind of air cleansing but it is a homely room where it has the feel of a big country house family room. The remainder of the hotel is smoke free and very pleasant.”

• swimming pool & leisure facilities, setting was lovely & peaceful
• Didn't think the bedroom was a 4* standard very basic and hot water pressure extremely poor

“Secluded , quite and very relaxing. car needed to travel to nearby facilities. Nearby restaurants limited and food in hotel lovely but fairly pricey. Breakfast was 1st class. Accommodation certainly wasn't the best which I have stayed at in Scotland but we chose this hotel purely because of the leisure facilities which were good although pool was quite cold.”
