“Staff was helpful and rooms were comfortable. Location was a little further away from some of the attractions that we were interested in, but, still within walking distance. Next door bar was a little noisy at night. Overall, we had a positive experience and would stay again.”

“The rooms were clean but the hotel was very low budget. There was no flat sheet on the bed. There was a sheet covered comforter that doubled as flat sheet and comforter. There is no AC in the hotel and my room faced the busy street. I had a choice between sleeping with no noise or sleeping in a warm room.”

“While the facilities are clean and comfortable, the location of the hotel left something to be desired. I didn't like where it was located as it was far from the city center, and even further from the airport (about 30 minutes). I was only there for one night, and had to catch a flight early in the morning. The noise from the night club, which was directly below me, kept me awake all night. Because of that, I overslept, and almost missed my flight. I'd prefer staying in a hostel over this hotel. The rates at a hostel are better, and I've had a better night's sleep in a 12-bed dorm that I had in this hotel room.”

“Staff was not friendly at all, which turned us off throughout our stay. On top of that, location is quite a bit out of the way. We would not have ever chosen to stay in this area if we had the choice. And to top it all off, we couldn't sleep before 2am each night because there was a club that would play loud music each night, and we couldn't close our windows because there was no air conditioning, and we needed fresh air. Bottom line, we would not recommend this place.”

“Still a moderate walk to downtown but exactly where I thought it would be. The hotel looked outdated. The window in our room did not close. The club in the back yard was too loud not to have the window closed and the weather was too hot not to have it opened. The front desk person was on duty by himself because we arrived to the hotel pretty late. Nonetheless, he was very helpful, tried to fix the window and offered us to change rooms, which we did. We were given an option between an even noisier room or the same type room but with separate beds. We took the not so noisy room with separate beds. The weather was hot so the front desk clerk was nice enough to bring us a little portable AC, that actually was loud enough to mask the rest of the nightclub noise in our room. Hotel was also out of the adapters for electric appliances, which they said in the brochure they have available for their guests. Luckily I found out from my friends that European plugs work in Ireland if you just ignore the third hole in the socket, which I did and I was able to work on my laptop. I always stay at 3-star hotels and up, because I do not like outdated hotels and I like them clean. This experience was not what I wanted it to be. I would not recommend this hotel, especially traveling with kids. The only good thing about it is that is right on the bus line that will take you to downtown in the matter of minutes.”

“I would definitely recommend this hotel for its value. It was a little off the beaten path in terms of distance from the city centre. After a day of walking it was tiring to walk back. However, there is a great public bus system and taxis if you want to avail yourself of the service. It was clean, friendly and efficient, and it met our needs.”

“The room was nice and clean. Very comfortable beds. The rooms are quite small though and since it rains all the time in Dublin, we were there in late June and we had rain showers and thunderstorm with clouds all day, the location is inconvenient to the major sightseeing locations.”

“I thought it is good for the price. It had a nice continental breakfast for 5 euro. If the staff at the front desk had a bus schedule available, our stay would have been a lot better.”

“This was a classic Days Inn experience. The hotel is in a great, non-touristy part of town (and conveniently located next to a bust stop). The rooms were very clean and the service desk was very nice. The only thing that would have made this room better is if there were a clock somewhere in the room. That would have been helpful. Overall, this was a very positive experience.”

“For anyone who likes to sleep in quiet, do not stay at this hotel! You will hear dance music pumping late at night from the disco next door. Otherwise the hotel was very pleasant and clean.”

“I would not recommend this hotel. The disco played loud music until 2:00 AM on a Monday night. We were on the second floor, the hotel is old with no sound proofing, so we couldn't begin to sleep. Also, no screens and no air conditioning. The road noise, especially the street sweeper at 5:00 AM was deafening.”

“The room was great compared to rates. Overall, the place was clean and tidy. My husband and I can sleep through anything but if we were light sleepers, I would be a concerned about having the rooms that face the courtyard where the restaurant/bar patrons go outside. I would recommend this place for a girls/guys weekend but probably not a family hotel.”

“Although the desk staff was friendly. The restaurant next door was actually a night club that was loud well into the evening. The breakfast at the "restaurant" was horrible. The coffee was some of the worst I've ever had, even when it was fresh, and the food would rate somewhere below McDonald's. The bed was uncomfortable and there was no AC, which I would normally not mind except having the window open I could hear the raging party ongoing next door until 2AM. The area of Dublin was such that the hotel selected was far from the area I wished to be in which required more time to get to and from the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.”

“The staff was friendly. The night guy at the desk was very hard to understand. We couldn't call room to room and when we asked him, he didn't know anything. The room was very clean, nice large bed. It was a cute hotel. I would stay there again except it was much father away from where I wanted to be. There was a nightclub next door. We were so tired from walking to our hotel that it didn't bother me but if you go there and are a light sleep make sure you get a room that doesn't face the club. The restaurants is the actual night club so it's not the nicest but not bad either.”
