• The staff were very helpful,the hotel was very peaceful and within walking distance of shops, resturants and main attractions.
• mini bar drinks in hotel rooms were expensive, hotel didn't have a bar, although you could buy cans.

“There is no car park on the hotel grounds, although there are parking facilities next to the hotel but you have to pay.”

• staff were outstanding, couldn't do enough for us. also hotel was clean and well equipped - and i'm fussy

“hotel warm,clean and comfortable, staff very accomodating, food was high standard, hotel provided bags for our mucky trainers, pizza delivery when restaurant was shut and use of telephone at no charge for organisational calls - nothing was a problem. We'll be going back there.”

• Friendly professional staff with very well appointed clean rooms
• Bathrooms towels could be higher quality and bigger

“The hotel is very close to Edinburgh City Centre and is only a five minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station. Ideally situated for shopping, bars and restaurants of all kinds. The theatre is only 5 minutes away. The staff are smart, friendly and professional and are always willing to offer help and advice on all aspects of the city.
I have already recommended The Parliament House Hotel to friends and relatives and will definitely stay there again myself”

• Proximity to Town Centre and Train/Bus Stations etc
• Breakfast was a bit skimpy, porridge was cold & runny,and Black pudding could have been cooked longer

“The hotel was fair value for money, the staff were helpful and frienly, the lack of a proper bar was dissapointing, but all in all OK”
