At the Arrandale you can enjoy the personal and friendly touch of a family run hotel. Our 18 guest bedrooms are tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. All rooms feature colour television, alarm clock radio, tea and coffee making facilities and are centrally heated. Most rooms have en suite facilities and our executive rooms, which occupy the front of the hotel on the first floor, also have minibar, hairdryer and trouser press.Occupying the southfacing corner, the hotel enjoys maximum sunshine and overlooks the tranquil victorian gardens which form the colourful centrepiece of the Square. Free from traffic noise and congestion and offering unrestricted parking, the Square remains within easy reach of all the town's facilities. good value for money. excellent service and a great breakfast. the room was comfortable and clean.

“My stay was a comfortable one. As a frequent traveller I stay in many hotels throughout the year. The Arandale was better than I expected and excellent value for money. Friendly (multilingual!)staff and great personal service. The availability of FREE high speed internet access was something I wouldn't have expected in a small hotel like this. All in all I can surely recommend the place!”

Friendliness and helpfulness of owners.
Lack of parking.

“The Arrandale is exactly what it is portrayed as - a friendly, family-run hotel. It offers comfortable, if not state of the art, rooms, good food and service. It is somewhat hampered by the lack of parking facilities and the local parking laws which make it necessary to update one's parking disc every two hours during the daytime. The owners are friendly, helpful and gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble; they make the hotel!”

Decent position, pleasant staff, good breakfast
A rather tired looking hotel, no staff available during the day post breakfast if you wish to check in.

“Fine enough for a short break but out of season there may be other better offers”
