The charm of the old part of town with its small houses, narrow alleys and cobbled streets reminds us of days gone by. Within the historical center, next to the marina, is Farol Design Hotel - a daring architectural project. The remodeled 19th-century mansion - formerly owned by the Count of Cabral - has been uniquely combined with a new infrastructure built in a contemporary design. The result is a harmonious bridge in time. The Estoril Coast, on which Farol is situated, enjoys a privileged climate and is made up of fine sandy beaches that dot the shore, while the lush country side climbs uphill towards the Sintra mountains. Fine brasserie dining, a saltwater pool and many available activities at the hotel were created to take advantage of the great outdoors.
