“Well run hotel but extremely noisy: the guest room doors are constructed in a way that they bang loudly when anyone enters or exits a room. Therefore, banging is throughout the day and night -- since a lot of the Middle Eastern people in the hotel stay up very late to party, visit, use the casino, etc. Children running down the halls, making noise, banging doors, etc. etc. Noise doesn't stop until around 4 in the morning, then resumes around 7. Horrible experience. I was there 13 nights. Staff smiled a lot, but did nothing to move me to a more quiet location. Perhaps there were none. Anyway, there are better hotels in Cairo. My visit was a nightmare and VERY expensive. Also: Nile view rooms are very noisy because the hotel is close to the road, which is constantly filled with traffic, and the noise is not shut out by the sliding doors in the room. The city view is very nice, though. Don't stay here.” 2 of 3 people found this review helpful.Amenities at Nile Hilton, Cairo
