“I was amongst a group of 8 friends who stayed at le donjon for 4 days in march and on arrival found the hotel to be much better than I had expected after having read a couple of negative reviews. The location is superb, right in the heart of the walled city of carcassonne with transport provided to and from the entrance of the city if required as private vehicles are not allowed within the city walls. The staff was extremely helpful in recommending different restaurants, which were all found to be superb. The atmosphere within the hotel is one of relaxation and is totally in keeping with the flavor of the city itself. The housekeeping was immaculate, the showers wonderful and I would definitely stay at le donjon again.”
