• Clean, quiet, comfortable, spacious, great restaurant, close to airport.
• Lacks swimming pool, pay TV inadequate, not much to do on premises.

“This is a very nice and large hotel near the Bologna airport. The king double room was very well appointed and a good buy at 77E on an August Sunday. A big plus was the quality of the restaurant. Everything is extremely well cooked and delicious. Meal price for soup, main dish, water, wine, and dessert was about 3E, a good price considering the quality. Cons were the pay TV and the lack of a swimming pool at the hotel, although it has an adequate fitness room. The staff did not have a list of the movies showing, but it turned out there were only four: two in Italian and two in English, not counting the two "blue channels". As for the pool, the man at the desk recommended going next door. This turned out to be a considerable walk (not a problem if you have a car) to a private club. The outdoor pool looked beautiful, but I didn't see anyone to accept me to swim. On balance, the Bolgna Sheraton is a nice quiet place to stay if you have plenty to read or are with friends. It certainly is close to the airport (5 minutes by cab). But it lacks things to do for those on foot, compared to the city center. ”
