• Good breakfast and clean rooms.
• The gym and swimming pool facilities were horrible.

“If I could describe this hotel in one word, it certainly wouldn't be quality The rooms were small & basic but clean. Meals were fine. I was hoping one of the plus points about this hotel would be the swimming pool, but unfortunately I was very disappointed as the changing rooms and the whole pool area were filthy. I could only stand to stay in there 5 minutes and didn't return during my 3 night stay.



Overall fine, just avoid the swimming pool at all costs.”

“The Hotel was easy to find, clean, comfortable and easy on the pocket. Dinner was great, the leisure centre good, just what you need when on business. Plus, the car park was actually FREE, and you don't get many free car parks in any city centre anymore.”

“The hotel is ideally located on Hagley Road, close to the city centre but far enough out that you can get there by car!!. All staff were friendly and hospitable and they all went out there way to ensure I had a very comfortable stay. I will definately b”

• Good location - friendly staff.
• Hotel needs updating. Worn dirty carpets in dining area. Torn wall paper and tired decor.

• Great value for money, friendly staff, loved the breakfast!

“Don't go to breakfast at 9:30 (ala everyone else!), get there earlier - it's not a question of running out as they top up regularly, however there are limited tables available so there can be a bit of a wait!

Book tickets to Cadbury World at the hotel - not only slightly cheaper, but they give you an entry time which avoids hanging around!

I hadn't realised there was so much to do around Birmingham, I will definitely be coming back!”

• Friendly and attentive staff, fast service and a clean room. Everything a hotel should be.
• There wasn't much I didn't like at all actually!

“Parking is a rare commodity in inner city hotels nowadays, and this really swung my choice to stay here. Fantastic access to city centre. The business facilities were spot on and worked first time, and the food was wonderful. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.”

• It had a pool and gym, and wasn't too expensive.
• Couldn't get sky1 on the TV.

• It was close to the event I was attending. Car Parking available

“Comparing the prices and facilities with other Hotels it was good value for money. The room I stayed in was old and needed some maintenance but clean and comfortable.”

• easy access to centre by bus, good room, not to expensive
• no acceptance of euros, no currency exhange even not able to retain pounds via 'a surplus on my count'

• Hotel was very easy to find, ample parking and not very far to City Centre.
• Meal in bar was barely warm. Pool out of order.
