The Henrietta Hotel is one of the original Georgian Town Houses and dates from the 1788 period, The street was built by the Georgian Architect Thomas Baldwin who named the street after his daughter Henrietta after which the hotel is also named. The Henrietta Hotel is privately owned and has been converted into a comfortable 10 bedroom bed and breakfast hotel. Most of the rooms have the original fire places and carved ceilings. The rooms are centrally heated and are a mixture of double, twin, single and family rooms all having their own private shower and WC, colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities. The proprietors aim is to offer good clean accommodation at an affordable price in the centre of Bath.
