• It was classy and in a good location.

• Location is great! Nearby Leidseplein and good public transport.
• Breakfast is not included, and not cheap, 25 Euro pp.

• Excellent business internet/phone package. Very helpful desk staff.
• No bathtub, only a shower.

“Spectacular location, right near the Leidseplein, close to public transit. The rooms in the back are quiet enough to sleep well, while the pulse of the city is practically across the street. The staff are polite, well-informed and very helpful. This quickly became my favorite Amsterdam hotel”

• The room is very clean and comfortable.
• Hotel facilities aren't much and you have to pay for everything, even fitness room access.

“Good location close to the entertainment area. Clean and comfortable room. Beware that there's not much in terms of hotel facilities and what they have is pretty expensive. It's a hotel clearly devoted to business clients.”

• Very comfortable bed, quiet room, large bathroom, excellent location.
• Room was quite small.

“Overall this is an excellent, clean, comfortable hotel. The location can't be beat. The hotel itself doesn't have a lot of character so inside you feel like you could be in any large city in the world, not necessarily in Amsterdam. It's pretty similar to the other large hotels in the area that I have stayed at as well.”

• Hallway carpet needs to be changed.

“This hotel is a lot like hotels in NYC. The rooms are very small and not very clean. It's noisy outside because it's a happening place. The stuff is very direct and sharp.”

• Reception staff, bathroom and room amenities were all excellent.

“Everything about the hotel was equal to my expectations, except for the critical non-existent amenity of air-conditioning, which did not operate during the night-time hours. The room was too warm for sleeping.”

• Very low price.
• It has no gym, breakfast and internet are expensive.

“This hotel is ideally-located for Leidseplein, the entertainment district but far from any of the red light districts and Central Station, so chose it only if you do not mind using the public transportation to move around all the time. The rooms are large, for Europe, and the amenities are adequate, but the overall facility has a mid-level look and feel. The staff is very young and inexperienced, so do not plan to rely on them for making your experience worthwhile.”

• Awesome location and extremely safe.
• Restaurants within hotel were extremely expensive.

“I was extremely pleased with this hotel and would definitely recommend it and stay there on my next visit to Amsterdam. It was close to the museums, nice restaurants, tram stop, Vondel Park and a public square. The hotel staff seemed very friendly, although we did not request any of their assistance or recommendations.”
