• The people, clean.
• No pool, not close to restaurants, walls too thin can hear neighbor.

“Staff was friendly, hotel was clean, had a store to buy food or product, convenient. DVD player in the room. Hotel is located in a clean, safe area. However, not much to do but sit and watch TV. Had a gym, yet no pool. Nothing close enough to walk to. Overall hotel is a very nice hotel to stay in. Some of the most helpful staff members I have experienced. Made the stay worthwhile.”

• The price was great, and the room had a fridge and stove.
• No amenities in the room, no maid service even though I stayed for 3 days.

“Functional, clean, but no maid service whatsoever, no ice, no pool, no in room movies or internet access. Air conditioner only on if you were in the room, pretty much guaranteeing that you always returned to a hot stuffy room that took at least an hour to be comfortable.”

• Excellent all around except the location was a little tricky to find it. Hotel directions/staff very helpful.
• Nothing.

“Excellent accommodations, highly recommend for a weekend stay or business travelers, with full kitchen in room. Very clean and comfortable, quiet.”

• I liked the kitchenette.
• Did not have the room style I requested and told me I had to pay $30 to upgrade to that style of room.

“I asked for a room with two beds and this hotel does not have this type of room. I was told I could upgrade to a room with a foldout couch for $30. I chose not to do that and had to share a bed with someone I was traveling with.”

• Wonderful kitchen, clean bathroom.
• My reservation stated I needed a room (double) for 2 persons-me & a friend. We ended up with 1 dbl bed. So, I slept on the FLOOR, in a sleeping bag!

“Nice hotel & can get in after hours with a key in a lock box. If you're traveling with someone other than your spouse, because, for your lower price, you'll only get one double bed. You may feel like you're on the movie set of Broke Back Mountain!”

• It was a great deal for being one of the only hotels available near Chicago on a very eventful weekend.
• I was charged twice for the hotel and it was 2 different prices.

“If we were staying for a longer time frame this hotel would have been great. I think it is a good place for the business traveler. The kitchen was a nice feature although we didn't need it for our stay.”

• It was conveniently located, clean and friendly.
• The hotel did not have cribs available.

“The hotel personnel was nice enough to upgrade us to a larger room (at no additional cost). Please be advised that this could have been a problem, if the hotel had not taken pity on us. We had 2 adults and 2 children in our party.”

• Everything was great.

“As I said above, it is the cleanest hotel I have stayed at. I called the hotel for directions. The front desk gave perfect directions. Was very happy with the price.”

• It was hard to find a first.

• Map quest led me to the wrong location.

• Good price, clean, not overly fancy but very comfortable.
• Can't think of anything.

“I had a very comfortable stay. Check-in and check-out was very quick. The room included refrigerator, sink, small cook top and even a dishwasher. All at an unbelievable price. The room was clean and not overly fancy but comfortable and functional. I'd rather not spend money on frills that aren't necessary.”

• Staff went out of their way to be helpful, beyond what would be expected.
• It would be nice to have a small business office with a computer and printer for its customers.

“Candlewood Suites in Warrenville stands out for the friendly and helpful hotel staff who go to great lengths to meet the needs of its patrons. It is especially suited for business people or the leisure traveler who seeks his or her entertainment outside of the hotel setting. Facilities are complete with a pool and workout room as well as a small pantry that is convenient for quick meals or common needs. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have refrigerator, stove and microwave as well as basic kitchen supplies. It has rooms of varying sizes, depending on the need. I highly recommend it, especially the one at this particular site.”
