• It had a balcony.
• Staff was unpleasant, they never smiled, almost like you were bothering them.

“I traveled on business, and the hotel was old, not very clean, very noisy, I noticed fruit flies often in the hotel and in my room at times. Very disappointed.”

• Located two blocks away from major outdoor shopping mall. Free parking and internet.
• Room smelled like pesticide; needs major renovation.

“I stayed there because everything else was full, and I knew it was not going to be a 4-star hotel. It was fine for one time, no major problems. But I won't use it again!”

• Older -- floors crooked.

“I really wanted to stay in Evanston but I could not find an affordable price. This hotel is well located, but it is not a great value for the price -- it is showing age.”

• The breakfast was great.
• Given a smoking room and I have asthma. staff would not change room or offer restoration.

“We did not receive the room we thought we paid for and this was very dis hearting Thank goodness it was only for one night.”

• Very friendly and helpful staff, loved the balcony too!
• Nothing.

“The hotel staff was courteous, room service was great, and the room itself was very nicely appointed. I had surgery that day, and we picked the room because it had a recliner-which was perfect since I slept sitting up that night! The hotel was easy to find, and pretty centrally located to convenience stores, shopping, etc.”

• Friendly staff, great food, nice rooms and pool.
• Only 5 floors, 1 elevator not to 2nd floor.

“I think the Comfort Inn is a great hotel! They have a great pool and the rooms are clean with comfy beds! Recently renovated and wonderful. They have a great free breakfast! I could not believe the value and what I had found! I would definitely recommend it! ”
