  • Amenities in the room and helpful staff.

“This was a moderately priced hotel and was a step above, in that it was clean, centrally located and very comfortable.”

  • Breakfast was ok. Room was clean & secure.
  • The rooms are a bit dated.

  • Very close to Seaworld.

“The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. They have a little store in the hotel that allows you to charge drinks, chips, etc., to your room. That was a really nice plus. The microwave and mini frig also made traveling on a budget or with a nursing baby much easier! The hotel was very close to Seaworld and had several eating places close by. The room was a great value for the price. This was our 2nd time to stay here and we will come again.”

  • Continental breakfast was good.
  • Area and neighborhood seemed shady.

“The staff was kind and the room was clean. The breakfast was good and they gave extra pillows without questions. I didn't feel comfortable leaving any valuables in the vehicle or in the room. I kept them with me at all times.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[5] • Location:[6]

  • Breakfast bar was okay.
  • Exterior doors with poor locking system.

“Located close to Sea World and Fiesta Texas. Our room had new carpet and paint, but the paint was over rusty hinges, old fixtures etc. The room was reasonably clean, but the bathroom tile and fixtures were old and needed replacing. My biggest concern was the exterior doors and locks. The deadbolt worked but the safety catch on the door was pulled loose and had not been repaired. This place doesn't come close to being a two star and not what I expected.”

  • Manager was friendly.
  • Bathroom smelled badly, older motel.

“Felt like rooms were unclean, bathroom had a bad smell. Employees were friendly, that is a plus!”

  • Clean room.
  • Bathrooms.

“Clean room. Good location. Bathroom needed work. Surprisingly dirty and inoperative for a room this clean.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[8] • Location:[6]

  • It is close to Seaworld San Antonio.
  • Outdated furnishings and the carpet looked dirty.

“This hotel is good for a short overnight stay where you will be in the room only to sleep. The location is good for Seaworld, but not the San Antonio Riverwalk, Alamo, or other typical tourist destinations.”

  • Clean, quiet and everything was in working order.
  • Would have liked to have had a bit more room.

“Hotel stay was surprisingly comfortable. Everything was clean and nice. Wendy's drive through was kind of frustrating a couple of times, we were right above the lobby and it sounded like someone was talking very close by. DO NOT order the Inn Room Service, it took over an hour to get there, pizza was cold and unsliced and Greek salad was totally inedible.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Convenient location; close to restaurants, freeway, SeaWorld.
  • The pool was not heated.

“It was fine - nice place for a quick snooze between days at SeaWorld.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[7] • Location:[6]

  • The continental breakfast was a pretty good set up.
  • Outdoor access to all rooms.

“The overall experience was fine. I just don't care for outdoor access into your room. I think these should definitely be denoted as a motel in comparison to a hotel.”

  • More complete continental breakfast than most other hotels in this star category.
  • Hotel next to ambulance and EMS station. I heard sirens at all hours.

“This Ramada is a well maintained property including nice landscaping and an expanded continental breakfast. The room was clean and kept that way during my stay. My room was also recently painted. Staff was incredibly friendly and responsive. A manager called me after my stay to inquire about a small item I reported missing but later found. Negatives include that is property is adjacent to an EMS station so I heard sirens throughout the night and it's in a marginal neighborhood.”

  • Hotel was clean.
  • Infested with crickets.

“The hotel was relatively clean. However, it was infested with crickets. There was a cricket in the bathroom light, one came out of the facet and the sidewalks and outside walls were overrun with them.”

  • I really was impressed with the continental breakfast.
  • One of our pillows was flat.

“This hotel was right for my family. I wasn't looking for a 4 star hotel. It was moderately priced. It included a continental breakfast, which was surprisingly good. They had a variety of things to choose from. The pool was small, but my family was the only ones out there. I liked that the pool was shallow (3 ft.) on both ends and deeper (5 ft.) in the middle. The hotel also had a small fridge, microwave oven, an iron, an ironing board, a safe, and a hairdryer. The rooms had a great AC. If you like for the room to be cold, you could get the room extremely cold. If you don't like it that cold, you could it down. There is a restaurant within walking distance. It was close to Sea World (6 miles) and located right off of 410, which was very convenient for us. I would stay here again and would also recommend this hotel to others.”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[5] • Location:[1]

  • The staff was friendly.
  • The area was awful.

“The hotel didn't have a very good parking area. The neighborhood was loud. There was an auditorium right next door that made getting back into the hotel on Saturday night almost impossible. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were ok.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[8]

  • Location was great for close travel time to Lackland AFB, Seaworld, the Alamo, etc.
  • I prefer having a private dressing area, besides just the bathroom.

“Great location for graduation ceremonies at Lackland AFB and other area attractions. Plenty of eating establishments in the area, with some within walking distance. There is a fire department station across the road, but it didn't seem to bother us during the night when asleep. Added some extra excitement for the youngsters when the trucks would roll out on a call. We live in the country, so that was something new and exciting for them.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[7] • Location:[5]

  • Close to sea world worked out well.
  • Room price was too high for a one night stay.

“Nice hotel could have been better for 117 a night. We traveled on a weekday to avoid the higher prices. Very close to sea world.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[8]

  • The rooms are clean with good service.
  • Right across street from fire station, kind of loud all night.

“Will definitely stay at this hotel next time we go to sea-world, convenient location, great pool for the kids, close to lots of restaurants.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Staff was very nice, room very clean.
  • Parking.

“Great location for our needs. Room was very clean and the staff was extremely nice. The pool was also well maintained. Parking wasn't ideal, but not a major problem. We had 2 adults, 2 teen agars & a baby. The room was big enough to accommodate a portable crib & swing and still have plenty of room to walk around. The fridge in the room was great for keeping the baby's formula fresh. The free breakfast was great; my kids really enjoyed the waffle maker! Overall we enjoyed our stay here and I would recommend this hotel to family & friends.”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[4] • Location:[2]

  • I did not like anything about this hotel.
  • Old, not very clean, very noisy w/ a fire station and fast food drive thru across the street, slow service.

“I would not stay at this hotel again. The fire station across the street woke us up many times each night. The Wendy¿s drive through window speaker was loud enough to hear in our room. Our TV broke and it took 2 days to get it fixed. The cleanliness of the room was questionable. Based on my experience I over paid for this hotel stay. ”
