• Friendly and helpful staff. Tried very hard to make the best out of a terrible and disappointing facility.
• Unsafe location. Ugly common areas. Outrageous long-distance walk to overpriced self-parking.

“Pulled into the self-park lot and was met by a passed out person in front of the parking garage elevator. Found out we'd be paying $23 a day for parking only to have to walk about 2 blocks (underground) to our hotel (with luggage). Hallways are ugly and dated. Had 8 people partying in the room next to us. Had a view of an inner-city Greyhound bus station. No snacks available in hotel, only beverage machines that didn't take dollar bills. Moved to another hotel because this one was so bad.”

• Even though the restaurant didn't have a huge selection I had the best prime rib Ive ever tasted.
• The 11th floor just wasn't as attractive as other floors we saw but either way it was worth it

“The hotel was very nice, I would have preferred something a little closer to the main center point of the Riverwalk were most of the attractions are located but with it being around five blocks away. I really cant complain to much.”

• I like the beauty of the hotel and accommodation available.
• The room lighting was poor, the queen bedding seem like full size.

“The hotel staff seemed overworked with not enough help, but the staff was friendly and helpful when they could. I loved the pool and whirlpool area, but I feel that this area closes to early for late night swimming. I did not get a chance to use the gym and sauna area, but it looked great to me.”

• Staff was wonderful. Especially liked the valet parking.
• More of a business oriented hotel.

• Hidden charges: had to pay an addition fee for parking in their garage $25.00 per night.

• Parking fee of $23.75 per day was extravagant.

• Beautiful, comfortable, elegant and
  friendly.

“I loved the hotel but hated the long walk to get to the action part of the River Walk. Just too far away to really be called a River Walk location. They need a shuttle service or something to get people to the action.”

• The hotel was very clean and upscale.
• The service from check in was poor and they are still having a mix up with my credit/dedit card.

• The room looked nice, nice exercise room and free internet.
• Restaurant wasn't very good and it was expensive, the beds were ok-not plush or anything.

“I was a little disappointed that it wasn't closer to the trendy part of the Riverwalk area but it was close enough. You can easily walk most touristy places you would want to go from there.”

• The staff was very willing to please and always there to assist with anything needed.
• Parking $28per day.

“I was appalled by the state of this room. Incredibly small and incredibly noisy. Having to park across the street for a $25.00 price was insulting!”

• The downtown location was great. Pool was large and kid/family friendly.
• Limited river access.

“We enjoyed our family stay at this hotel. Rooms were clean, nice, and good sized bathroom. I wish the river would have been a little more accessible.”

• From the moment of entrance everything was good.
• The coffee pot was too small.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone, one of the best hotels yet. The linens were so clean and soft. I normally bring my own sheets when traveling.”

• Was very clean. Nice place.
• Had to wait a long time for valet one day. Maids forgot to clean our room and bring towels etc one day. Had to call to get it.

“Overall, was a good experience. It's at the end where there are no restaurants and nothing happening. Had to walk 8 plus blocks to get to where the action was. But it was a nice place, with nice staff.”

• The underground walk way from the parking lot was great.
• The walls were thin, heard every toilet flush all day and night.

“I like the motel in general, but it said it was on the Riverwalk, it was but not close to any attractions. We walked 4-6 blocks to get to the Mall, the main stores in the Riverwalk and the Alamo. There was a lot of construction around the motel, so it was hard to get around. It was quiet and simple.”
