• Close to airport and has a kitchen.
• The bed was not made and could not get a hold of the staff.

“1st night was great and the 2nd night was not as good because the bed was not finished being made up and we could not get a hold of any staff at 10 pm when we arrived.”

• Good location and very friendly staff.
• No shade in the parking lot.

“The room was basic hotel issue, but clean. Very close to the airport and downtown. Desk personnel were very nice and friendly. Also allowed video checkout with no charge. Only thing I could say was the stove was missing a part and the silverware was short several items but as we were only staying overnight, this was not a problem. Would stay again.”

• The self-serve 'on your honor' room with snacks.
• Didn't feel very clean.

• The bed was comfortable and the shower had plenty of pressure.
• The room looked about 20 years old. The carpet was terribly stained and disgusting.

“Would not travel to this hotel with children of any age. Bed situation is poor and the carpeting was old, stained and disgusting looking. The nice thing was the full kitchen, but we did not use.”

• Maybe its location.
• The service, the room, the whole experience from when I walk in.

“I was greeted by a women at the front desk rudely, who was upset at the price and made it know. Then when I ask if I could upgrade she told me they were full which was not true. The room was old and junkie, had no internet service and had two twin beds for 4 people. When I check out they try to charge me for items which were not mine and I had to fight over that. It was just an unpleased night. When I asked for a change they were just rude. I will be writing the hotel also.”

• It was clean and safe and location was great.
• No free tooth brush.

• I enjoyed the set up and size of the bathroom.
• The fact that there are no double beds in the facility.

• It was a good location at the airport.
• No lobby.

“Upon arrival we found the air conditioner in the room was not working. They moved us to a different room. It was a twin bed unit. They had no other rooms and were not willing to try to fix the a/c. The room was tiny. The floor was dirty. The airport shuttle was unreliable. I waited for 45 minutes to go to the airport though I reserved the shuttle the night before. They close the front desk after 11:00 pm. No wireless internet service, DSL only. Continental breakfast advertised but not available in the morning.”

• Location was great for airport and highway access.
• Room ventilation system.

“This hotel was great for the price, the room was comfortable and large enough. The ventilation system was a wall mount system with a separate thermostat. It was loud and blew air directly onto the bed, making it distracting. There was no parking by the lobby for when you checked in, which was a bit of a nuisance. It was easy to get to the hotel from the airport, is right near the off airport parking lots and had quick access onto the highway. Very convenient, if not scenic.”

• The mattress was too hard.

“This motel was great. Location was convenient and safe. Clean, big room, friendly staff, inviting inside and out. The only bad thing, our mattress was really hard and made my back hurt.”

• I liked the 24/7 hotel market with honor system for needed items.
• I ended up in a twin bed. I would have enjoyed a full.

“Great value hotel. Perfect for weekend trips or budget business travelers on the go with last minute planning. I've stayed at the Candlewood before on both business and pleasure travels. I like the kitchen setup so I don't have to eat out all the time. I enjoy preparing my own meals, it helps me relax, feel at home away, and unwind.”

• The hotel was clean.
• The rooms only had 1 queen bed. The TV had problems.

“The hotel was clean and nice for the most part, but it's not kid friendly. the rooms only have one queen size bed in the room, not good if your traveling with kids. I had my thirteen-year-old son with me.”
