• Like continental breakfast.
• Initial room checked into was never cleaned, bathroom 2nd room dirty.

“The first room we were given was not cleaned. Not prepared for next visitors. I had to walk back to lobby to get a 2nd room. 2nd room's bathroom was dirty. I had to call for someone to clean it.”

• The hotel was nicely kept, convenient to the strip and included a good continental breakfast.
• The room was great, except the bed felt like a cushioned tabletop. It was very uncomfortable.

“I really liked staying at the Ramada. The price was worth it for the amenities, but they really need to do something about the extremely uncomfortable beds.”

• OK pool, not a bad location but there is better.
• Everything was negative.

“Upon check in I walked into the hotel lobby to inquire about checking in to our room whereby the desk clerk without even looking up at me to greet me asked my name and started to shuffle through the computer. How this person got a job in customer service is a great mystery but I felt disrespected from the onset. After receiving our keys my wife and I were told where the room was and that was it, not "have a nice stay" or something of the sort. The room was horrible with a nasty stained dirty carpet that I did not want to walk on without socks on, the beds were so uncomfortable that we left late Saturday night even though we were paid up until the morning and drove back home to sleep in our own bed in Long Beach which I might add was a two hour drive until midnight. The maid service never materialized until I badgered the front desk twice and they left us no wash cloths and did not vacuum that wonderful carpet. Let's recap, rude front desk clerk, nasty room that had electric wall sockets not secured and hard to access a plug for my CPAP machine I need for sleep a plea, I must warn you there are many hotels available, this one is a bust. When you leave the room you must pull the door shut or it wont close all the way by itself and the computerized room key works only after a few tries.”

• The pool area was nice.
• The beds were awful. The bathroom sink faucet ran constantly .

“There were 6 rooms in our group that stayed for the 3 day weekend. Every one agreed the beds were uncomfortable and squeeked very loudly. Our bathroom sink faucet ran the entire weekend. When the maintenance man came to fix it he pushed the handle a special way and got it to stop running temporarily. Not impressed with the hotel, will not stay there next year.”

• Convenient location, good size room, very convenient and good continental breakfast, good price.
• Swimming pool and jacuzzi services were not good.

“It was a pleasure to stay there, everybody was friendly, very convenient location, secure place, neat room at a very good and fair price for a family like us. I recommend Howard Johnson to people who like to visit Palm Springs.”

• There was a bed.
• The room was dirty. There were personal articles left from the people who stayed before us.

“I do not recommend this hotel. It is out dated, unclean, and feels more like a Motel 6 than any Howard Johnson's I've ever been to. This is the first time I've ever been disappointed.”

• Nice location near downtown. Clean and comfortable. Nice staff.
• The pillows were a bit spongy.

“A clean comfortable hotel not too far from downtown. I liked the bronze people sculptures in the lobby.”

• Nicely appointed, better than I expected for price.
• Super crowded, maids start early, noisy.

“I was pleasantly surprised by my stay, which was not only reasonably priced, but also beautifully maintained. Nice outside areas for relaxation, great central location, helpful friendly staff. I would definitely recommend”

• The location was good, convenient and good, free breakfast.
• Carpet dirty, NO HIGH-SPEED INTERNET OFFERED FOR FREE OR PAY!!!!!!

“This hotel is located on a main street within Palm Springs and is extremely convenient. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The free daily breakfast has a decent selection and was appealing. The carpet was dirty in my room. Otherwise the room was quite suitable and comfortable. THIS HOTEL DOES NOT OFFER HIGH-SPEED INTERNET OF ANY KIND. NONE AVAILABLE FOR EVEN A CHARGE. In this day and age, that is highly unusual and would cause me to avoid this hotel in the future until that is corrected.”

• The pool was very nice.
• That area of palm springs is very Windy. The location wasn't the greatest.

“Very clean, nice sized rooms and the staff was very friendly. The only downfall is that the hotel is located in the windiest area of Palm Springs and there were very high gusts of wind that kept me sleepless.”

• Friendly Staff, Excellent location.
• The room was clean but doesn't have Terrace.

“This was my first time in Palm Springs and I found that the Howard Johnson was a great location for the things I had planned for my weekend. The outlets and the casinos were easily accessible from the hotel. The food they had for breakfast was really good, which was also free, and the piano music was a nice touch. They have excellent facilities such as their swimming pool and have great, friendly staff eager to help. We enjoyed our weekend in Palm Springs and would definitely go back to the Howard Johnson for any future visits.”

• The room was clean
• jacuzzi advisertised were in dreadful filty conditions

“The staff was terribly rude when approched re: a green and brown dirt in the walls of the pool and a green "out of order" jacuzzi. I would never stay at this facility or recommend it to anyone. It sadly ruined my little vacation. ”

• Exceptionally friendly and helpful personnel. Beautifully landscaped, well appointed and maintained. The pool and gardens were awesome.

• No towels by the pool

“My stay was very nice. The only problem I had was after returning to my room in the afternoon to take a nap, I pulled out a pillow from the made bed and discovered a filthy pillow case that the maid put on the pillow. It had many yellow hard spots that felt like glue or something similar. The rest of the stay was convenient and relaxing.”
