• The comfort of the beds.

“I stayed at this hotel during a girls trip. The staff was friendly. The hotel room was nice and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend this hotel, definitely!”

• Nice Room.
• Had to Pay for all food.

“The Hotel itself is nice, however they serve no breakfast and have no internet available. Its more like an upscale hostel. No business center, and a kitchen pantry where you have to buy all your food. The price is okay, but when you add in buying food and having to go to the local Kinko's for internet access it really makes this hotel not that great for the leisure or business traveler. Although the room and hotel where nice, I would not stay there again because of actually adding about $20 a night unto my bill because of no computer at the site, or no food.”

• Free laundry.
• Rude desk attendant.

“Had to sleep with my son because attendant insisted that only studios were given to users. Says that you can request multiple beds, but this hotel only has queen size beds so the attendant said. Room was clean with a good kitchen.”

• The kitchen, TV selection, and workout room / honor system "candlewood cupboard".
• A housekeeper knocked on my door at 9:30 am even though there was clearly a do not disturb sign out.

• Nice room - very nice bed and bedding.
• Parking facility was expensive and car retrieval was a nightmare!

“I have no complaints with the hotel at all but was very unhappy with the valet parking. First of all there is a $30 charge per night to park at their facilities (I believe parking for guests should be free/included in price of the room) but that's neither here nor there and not my complaint. When it came time to retrieve our car from the valet parking it turned into a 30 minute affair causing my girlfriend and I a huge amount of stress we really didn't need. After present the valet staff with our valet ticket is was quickly evident they either could find my keys or had lost them. After five minutes of digging through what appears to be an unorganized set of key trays they had they decided they'd ask if we had the our keys! (After giving them our valet ticket - they don't give you a ticket unless you turn over your car and keys). Anyways, after 15 minutes of the valet staff and my girlfriend digging through all the sets of keys we really started to get nervous so I asked for the manager's help. The manager came out a dug around for another 10 minutes or so while the valet staff was calling off-duty employees at home in case they might have walked away with the keys at shift end. (I can't believe this is even an option). Cutting this short, 40 minutes after check-out the keys turned up (I didn't see exactly from where) and we were very relieved. I spoke with the manager directly to explain the extreme displeasure I had with the whole experience;- 40 minute wait for car- fear that the valet staff lost the keys (or worse the car)- the fact that they were very disorganized- the stress that we would then have to figure out how to replace the keys (including our house, office, gym locker, roof rack etc), get the car out of the storage and make it back home (Canada) in time for appointments later that afternoon etc. The manager offered nothing more than a verbal apology, no discount or waiving of the valet fees.”

• Convenient-close to stores and shops, kitchenette, friendly staff, clean, honor system snack room, weight room.
• No continental breakfast.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is in a convenient location, close to stores and shops, and restaurants. On an off-street without a lot of drive by traffic and noise. Rooms are clean w/kitchenette and queen bed. Great hotel.”

• Decently priced room with decent amenities.
• Loud air conditioning that never quit.

“Not a bad place to stay, but by far not the nicest we've stayed in this price range. We were a little disappointed in the room. The TV had to be blasted to hear it over the air conditioning and there was not much ventilation in the room.”

• Price, location to downtown, Pittsburgh.
• We had 1 large bed for my son(18) and I to sleep in. We wanted 2 beds.

“Clean, convenient, very attentive staff, probably geared more toward extended stays. We stayed one night.”

• The desk clerk was not so friendly.

“Nice place to stay, would stay again. Would have preferred a room with 2 beds but there was a recliner which was comfortable enough to sleep in. The room had a fully equipped kitchen & that was nice.”

“The hotel was wonderful. The bed was more comfortable than mine at home. The room had a refrigerator, stove top, microwave, ice-maker, toaster, dishes, recliner and even a dishwasher! They even have free washer and dryer. The location was perfect near all major stores and a huge mall. I would highly suggest this location for you business or family visit to Pittsburgh.”
