• Was in our favorite area of town; easy to navigate to our chosen stores from there.
• Parking was awkward - once inside you were turned around & couldn't easily figure out where car outside was parked.

“Room & bath were spotless. Plenty of nice linens. HDTV was nice. Recliner was nice. AC worked wonderfully.”

• Roomy.
• No pool or breakfast on Sunday. The breakfast cost extra on Sunday.

“Ok if you don not want to relax in a pool. This hotel needs to improve on the breakfast they offer.”

• The room was quiet and clean.
• There was no additional bed for our disabled child. We all three had to share a queen size bed.

“The room was quiet, clean and fine for two people. However, there was not an additional bed or cot for our daughter. Getting sufficient rest was not possible.”

• Clean, honor system store in lobby.
• Only one small bed. No rollaway available. Slept on floor.

“Front desk staff not friendly. Trip was during inclement weather and the sidewalks were covered in ice. We alerted the front desk staff and they did nothing to make it any safer. Room had only one small bed, and we unexpectedly had my 3 year old with us. I asked the front desk for a rollaway, and was told they used to have one. I slept on the floor that night so my wife and son could sleep in the bed. At least it was clean.”

• Parking was inconvenient and hotel staff was hard to find.

• Good location, clean and comfortable.
• No wireless internet needs more cable channels, no free breakfast.

“This hotel is comfortable and in a convenient location. The bed and bedding were above average. I think it would be a very good hotel for business travelers.”

• Size of room; general comfort; location.
• Cleanliness was lacking; dead bugs in room.

“Apparently the hotel had sprayed for bugs prior to our arrival and had not cleaned up adequately afterwards. We discovered approx. 6 dead crickets around and under a corner chair in the room. Because of the color of the carpet, we didn't notice them until our last night there.”

• The room was a good size and it was nice having a TV with a VCR and DVD player.
• The trash hadn't been emptied before we got there and there was no housekeeping available for us.

“For the non-particular and just needing a place for a short stay, this hotel will fit the bill. I'm not sure, but we didn't get a thank you for staying with us when we checked out.”

• Had a separate bedroom. Manager gave us a free upgrade.
• It was being remodeled and smelled bad.

“Candlewood is in a similar class to Amerisuites but not as spacious. The kitchen was nice but lacked many utensils. Overall a good experience.”

• Four of us had to share a double bed. We could not upgrade.

• Spacious rooms.
• The first room assigned hadn't been cleaned, but we were reassigned quickly.

“The staff was eager to accommodate our needs. They suggested eating places nearby. We only needed a bed in which to sleep overnight. This was a stop-over on our trip, but this hotel fit the bill quite nicely. I would be willing to stay longer at this hotel, if coming to ok city again.”

• The full kitchen in the room, the laundry room and the cupboard.
• Only has one bed in each room.

“This was my 2nd time to stay at this hotel. I have really enjoyed staying at this hotel and plan on staying there again.”

• Reasonably priced "store" with real food (not just junk food).
• Lobby and hallways small, crowded. Unattractive location/surroundings.

• The room appeared clean; beds were comfy, kitchen well equipped.
• Animals were allowed, cats sit in windows, and carpet in hallway was ragged.

“There were two large dogs in the room by us and cats were everywhere. The general upkeep of the lobby and hallway did not appear clean.”

“One of my favorite hotels to stay at, but don't like the fact that they do not have rooms with double beds. Makes it hard to stay with family (husband and two children) Everything else is great.”

• The staff was excellent.

“We checked into the hotel when it was pouring down rain. The front desk person on duty helped us with our bags-which were considerable. He got us a rollaway bed and some laundry soap so we could wash our clothes. I would come back to this hotel because he was so nice and helpful.”
