  • Bed was super comfortable-really appreciated the coffeemaker-shower was great!
  • The room was small.

  • Clean rooms and very friendly staff.

“For me the location was great and easy walking distance to my destinations. Subway was close. Little Italy restaurants were close. It was a nice hotel for business travel. I loved it and would stay again and again.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[6]

  • It is close to the Canal St Subway station.
  • The air conditioning was not great.

“The rooms at this hotel are tiny but have all the necessary features iron, hair dryer, coffee maker, nice beds, good water pressure. The diner across the street offered a range of breakfast options, the Canal Street Subway stop is just two blocks away, and the staff though young and casual were always helpful. The one drawback is that the area is not well populated at night, so I would not have wanted to walk around alone.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Very clean with all necessities provided in very compact room.
  • Lobby has very limited space.

“Perfect location in SoHo/Chinatown. All amenities provided in very compact and efficient use of space; excellent bathroom space. Would definitely return to this hotel.”

  • Great looking room for the price. Comfortable, clean and just what I was looking for.

“This is an excellent hotel if you're looking for relatively inexpensive yet clean and nice. For New York, this was a great find. Do keep in mind that it is NY, so the room is small, but that's ok you should be out-n-about anyway.”

  • Loved the location! Clean rooms. Friendly staff.
  • Tiny rooms.

“Will definitely return to this hotel! Staff was great and rooms were clean and modern. Great location for our group with easy walk to Subway and SoHo shopping.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[8] • Location:[9]

  • The location was fine for walking, shopping and other sections in the lower areas of the city i.e. China town, little Italy, soho the village and the low.
  • Did not have a lobby, other than the check in desk.

“The hotel was fine although the rooms were small they were complete in comfort. The bathroom was complete in all needs and the shower was better than most hotels.”

  • Location! Nice boutique hotel in the heart of SOHO.
  • Be prepared, rooms are small, but nice!

“I loved this hotel's location. I will stay here every time I return to NYC. The people at the front desk are so nice! I may not recommend this hotel if you are traveling with children.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Location and friendliness of staff.
  • Room a bit small for a two person room with two double beds. Not enough storage space.

“Great Downtown location for subway. Police right around corner. Breakfast cafe right across street. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean, modern room, but a bit small without much storage space. A bit more than I would normally spend per night, but I think seasonal issues impacted on prices. I'll definitely check it again as option for future.”

“Great location, friendly staff and it was very clean. Peter and Stephanie took good care of me.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[1] • Location:[7]

  • Hip look, with great night club below.
  • The staff was very unhelpful. Consistently each transaction with them was unpleasant.

“The hotel is set in a good location. The look and decor is hip and cool. The room and bathroom were tiny, but you expect that in NYC. The room and bedding were very clean. The bathroom however did not appear as clean or tidy as it should have. The place where the hotel fails is with the staff. The entire hotel staff was unhelpful and inhospitable. Mistakes made on their part were never meet with a simple apology and simple requests and questions were meeting with an eye roll or a mumbled answer. I understand not expect full service at 2.5 stars, but simple human interaction should never be out of the question. I would think twice about staying here again and would never recommend it anyone who has never been to the city before. The location wasn't good enough to deal with that.”

  • The bath room is good, clean.
  • Too noisy, too small space, and room too crowded.

“The room was really too small, too crowded. AC was too noisy. The street was too noisy too.”

  • Great location right in the midst of solo.
  • Teeny room and no storage.

“Quiet and unobtrusive right in the center of solo and near all of downtown. I'm a Native new Yorker so it felt like home to me. If I was from the hinterland I might have freaked out at all the excitement. It was definitely an urban scene.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[7] • Location:[8]

  • Very clean, nice bathroom.
  • Techno music from the club below my second floor room.

“A nice hotel but insanely overpriced. The club music from the lounge on the first floor was way too audible in my second floor room and continued until at least 1 am. Room was tiny and the view out the window was off air conditioning units.”

  • The hotel was in a great location and the hotel staff was very friendly.
  • There was nothing that I didn't like about the hotel.

“Rooms are small, but this is a fantastic place. Two blocks from "little Italy" and one block from "Chinatown". The staff was always helpful and friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. Like when you were a kid and your best friend asks you over for a sleep over. We had a very enjoyable time and will be staying there again and again.”
