• Love the Jacuzzi suite and access to pool.
• The pillows smell like dog.

“Overall I really enjoy this hotel. Breakfast is good, has a pool and gym, convenient location, nice staff, price good, I always stay in the Jacuzzi suite. I don't mind animals at all. But the pillows smelled like dog.”

• The room was very comfortable and was well furnished.
• The general appearance and common areas were fairly run down.

“Generally, a good stay for the price. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is close to many things. The refrigerator in the room was handy, and we were able to microwave store bought items in the breakfast area off the lobby.”

• Good sized room for a family.
• The decoration was drab.

“This was a reasonably priced hotel for the area but certainly lacked any luxury. The breakfast area was very cramped and busy. There was a good selection of the usual continental breakfast. Towels were not readily available at the pool which was inconvenient.”

• Breakfast room is too small for the size of the hotel.

“I had a very poor experience. They did not have a room for me even though I called the day before to confirm. I ended up being sent to a different hotel. I stayed at La Quinta the second night and was disappointed. It has not been maintained well. The rooms need updating and repair.”

• Excellent customer service, new clean carpet in room.
• Pets were seen in breakfast dining area.

“Great customer service. Not sure if new manager or not, but she went over and beyond to help us locate a store we were looking for, brought my wife and I water while waiting to check in. She was always asking us if everything was ok etc, if our room was ok5 stars for this person on June 22/07.”

• The breakfast was great.
• The pool was closed for maintenance.

“The shower/toilet were separate from the vanity so I had to have the light on and bothering my family wile I was getting ready and they were still trying to sleep. We had chosen this hotel because it had an indoor swimming pool, but the pool was closed while we were there. I recommend calling in advance to verify pool maintenance days. The staff however was helpful and offered reimbursement if we went to the public pool down the street.”

• Breakfast!
• Areas of hotel smelled like pets.

“I specifically called and asked if all rooms had animals in them. With allergies to animals it made my stay a little "itchy eyed".”

• Lobby seemed drafty and cold.

“We thought it was a good buy for the money. It was clean and we enjoyed our stay. It sound strange, but I appreciated that the TV. Had "normal" settings for hearing and several channels to choose as well. Recently we have stayed in hotels which have few channels, and the TV. Volumes are set at low levels. I resent being forced to buy movie channels because our other options are so poor.”

• The pool, hot tub & breakfast were all nice features.
• We couldn't find the TV menu & front desk was no help; promised to call back but did not.

“Located near Alder wood Mall & many restaurants this hotel was clean but a bit worn. Their pool & hot tub were clean & spacious. The breakfasts were simple but generous. We enjoyed our weekend stay.”

• This hotel was conveniently located near the freeway and was clean and well maintained.
• I had no problems with this hotel.

“This hotel was clean, everything was in good working order and it was easy to locate from the freeway. The continental breakfast was very good and had much better variety than most I have seen. The swimming pool and hot tub were clean and secure. There were many dining choices near the hotel, many within walking distance. We felt safe walking to these nearby restaurants.”

• It had a very nice continental breakfast, clean and nice room, but spendy.
• It was too expensive for a weeknight and the location.

“It was nice and clean, but the soap and conditioner was cheap, but the sink and mirror for the bathroom were not connected to the shower, which was nice because it kept the mirror from fogging up. We stayed during a weeknight but the rate was still sky high, and for that much money a night we should have got a nicer room or something. I've stayed in a lot nicer for cheaper. The continental breakfast was very good, though. It had cable, and a nice wireless setup/desk, but a horrible view. Overall I was happy though!”

• Our room was not very clean.

“When we first entered our room, there was a strong odor combined with a cover up spray. The smell was most likely urine, probably from an animal. The room was not very clean and the mattresses were very bad. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“Very pleasant stay. The breakfast bar was very nice and just hit the spot. The coffee maker and refrigerator in room was extremely handy. The parking was ample and convenient. I appreciated the handicapped ramp and elevators easy access.”

• Located nicely for Alder wood mall shopping and activities.
• The breakfast area is a bit small, could be bigger.

“It is clean, the staff is especially friendly and helpful, I stayed there last time I was in the area and they actually came to my room, installed a loaner card into my lap top so I could use it with their wireless service, first time anyone ever offered to help, I asked about a beach and they told me about a marvelous park "Edmonds marina beach park" and I took grand kids there and it was swell, thanks.”

• Convenient, reasonably priced.
• We were placed in a smoking room and it stunk badly.

“It was barely adequate for a moderately priced hotel. I would not have stayed there more than one night and I would have been very disappointed to have paid any more money for it. The smell of the room was nauseating. Fortunately, this was somewhat mitigated by the fact that we arrived late and left early the following morning.”
