• Art Deco feel, in South Beach; walking distance to Joe's Stone Crab.

“Had a great time - room was very nice and comfy beds. Check-in staff was quite nice & helpful. Concierge gave us good & correct info on restaurants & clubs. Bell boy was prompt in bringing our luggage upstairs & took time to show us how to work the safe & heater/ac. All in all a nice stay and I'd use this hotel again.”

• Staff seemed ok
• Cheap.

“The hotel looks and smells like a bordello. No parking. Had to leave the shower run for 20 minutes just to get warm water. Very noisy.”

• Good value and location.
• Shower gets water everywhere.

“This is an above average art decor boutique hotel in South Beach. The staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms are small, but clean and bright. It is a step-up in class than some of the other nearby boutique hotels. The shower stall is half enclosed and water ends up all over the bathroom floor. I would stay here again.

• More lower rate and don't be too tight the time for check out.
• Sometime I was stuck and waiting for elevator. Don't charged internet line if someone else have laptop wireless.

“I like this hotel because clean, nice, romantic, close to the beach and fashion (new modern ). Some reception good be friendly warm family, but someone no good. I don't like have service charged internet line. I don't like a elevator it's so slowly for waiting.”

• Very cool decor. The pool and courtyard were small but cozy, isolated from the crowds.
• Staying at the 2nd floor meant that there was some street noise.

“Very cool place but probably not the best for families with small children. The hotel has a European flair to it, and not just because many of the guests were from abroad. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. The concierge/door staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• Location!
• It was dirty and seemed like a college dorm room.

“The hotel was very art deco. The smell of grapes that was piped through the hotel really got to me and made me sick. The bathroom and room was very small and very dirty. The shower was cold and did not warm up after waiting over 15 minutes.”

• Location, staff, hotel design, cleanliness, comfortable rooms, good AC, nice hot tub.
• In room dining closes early, water took 5 minutes to get hot and the pressure was not as good as expected for a 3 star.

• The staff was friendly.
• The walls were paper thin.

“It is a great value for the South Miami Beach area if you need a place to crash. The staff is friendly and it is clean. It is close to the beach and great restaurants. However, the walls are paper thin; you may be awoken in the week hours by the rhythm of lovers, or snoring.”

• Very trendy décor.
• Poor customer service -- no room service - only breakfast / loud!

“Customer service is extremely poor. Caters to a certain clientele. If you are business travel don't even think about it. Very loud -- late at night -- all hours of the day and night. Would not move my room at all. Did not get any sleep. No room service except breakfast. Gym is a joke. The only plus is the rooms are very urban chic -- no bathtubs -- only shower but cute decor.”

• Could walk to everything, price was right.
• Bar and coffee shop were not open. Pool area small.

“The entrance staff was helpful and friendly. The hallway ambiance was too dark. Washington Ave. can be a little scary at night. The bar never seemed to be open. It looked like this hotel was "happening" at one time, but not anymore.”

• The lobby that's about it.

“This hotel is incorrectly rated as a three. It deserves a 1.5. The only friendly staff member was the bellman. The staff made you feel as if you are not wanted there. Perhaps it was the weekend & they wanted off or they are just miserable. Every other hotel I went to the doors were open & hotel employees would greet you with open arms. I stayed at the Clinton a few years ago & never experienced this. The room was cleaned after 3pm & not once the vacuum was used. Under the bed there were dust balls everywhere. I made sure I left nothing on the floor. Would I stay here again, no.”

• Great location, clean.
• Service is poor; reservation was messed up.

“I booked two rooms using their own website and when I arrived, they only had one room reserved so our group of four was stuck in one room with two double beds. The guy at the front desk gave us a better rate, but it was extremely disappointing that they messed up the reservation. Then when we checked out, the discount was not applied and I had to explain the situation to a different person. The location was fantastic and the room, while small, was pretty decent. They provided earplugs but I did not need to use them.”

• Convent location.
• Moldy bathroom.

“The submitted reviews were very accurate. We found this hotel to be in a very convent location to many south beach attractions and the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel pushes an eclectic atmosphere, but it falls short of its rating. First floor room was loud from lobby noise and walls in the room are thin! Overall, not a bad place to lay up for an overnight stay between flight connections.”

• Trendy rooms.
• Location. Washington street gets quite scary at night.

“This was my second stay at the Clinton hotel in south beach. It was clean and trendy and the staff was great. Please keep in mind that this is a boutique hotel and you might be disappointed if you have higher expectations. The hallways need to be brighter - I know they are trying to be trendy, but if you are walking through alone, it can be quite scary. The elevator needs to be updated soon! But. Great stay!”
