• Good staff.
• The room was dirty looking had paint splash on the rug.

“The room had paint splash on the rug the toilet seat had stains as if it wasn't cleaned. the breakfast was very good. if I was staying longer I would've complained and probably left. what a difference in cleanliness etc.”

• Excellent value, perfect location.
• Front corridor smelled of sewage.

“I had to attend a 4 day meeting that was scheduled at the nearby Doral hotel and golf resort. Everyone that stayed at the Doral complained of the poor value and service. I was delighted with my stay at Candlewood. I would go again in a minute.”

• It was nice to have a suite, although we were just there for 1 night.
• It is far from the airport, and there is no free shuttle!

“Hotel was good overall, just far from the airport with no shuttle available. That was disappointing. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and well-maintained.”

• The washer and dryers were free to guests.
• The room smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking hotel.

“The room was nice and had a small kitchenette in it. The pool is nice, but far too warm, warmer than the hot tub. The staff was friendly and nice. They offer free movie rental. The hotel is close to the airport.”

• Great mattress, pillows, near airport. Recliner, desk, designer sheets and towels.
• Nothing to dislike.

• Most comfortable bed & pillows that I've had at a hotel.
• Had to pay for continental breakfast; first coffee free, had to buy each morning.

“The price should at least include breakfast and coffee each morning. Since its an extended stay, that's the least they can offer.”

• Big room, and excellent location.
• No lobby, front desk is not open 24/7.

“The Candlewood Suites Miami airport west is perfect for those long stays; the rooms are equipped with everything any traveler needs. The location is perfect, close to everything, however at the same time is in a quiet street. The front desk is not open 24/7, but the do have security 24/7, and although the hotel is in a good neighborhood, safety is always good.”

• Nice room /kitchenette area.
• No airport shuttle. Its supposed to be an airport location.

“The room was great and clean. They did not have any transportation and a cab would have been expensive since they were not that close to airport.”

• I liked the set up of the room.
• The staff was horrid!

“The hotel is well maintained and attractive for the amenities that it offers. The hotel staff on the other hand brings down the value and likeliness of repeat business and referrals due to their inhospitable nature and their lack of professionalism.”

• Staff was very nice and the 24 hour store downstairs was clutch!
• Our Air Conditioner in the room was leaking so bad the floor was soaked. They did not fix it after we told them about it.

“The Candlewood Suites was a great value and the staff was very friendly. The facilities are great and the hotel is located just far enough off Tamiami Trail so that you don't feel like you are in the city. I recommend this to any traveler.”
