• Very nice staff, very nice big clean rooms, excellent location, quiet and secure.
• Nothing.

• Selection of food, toiletries and supplies for sale.

“Clean and comfortable. Refrigerator, microwave, stove and all cookware. Great for the night or the week. In-room VCR and DVD player.”

• It was very clean and had a frig and kitchenette.
• I was pleased.

“It is clean motel with a nice convenient store that is on the honor system so food and drinks are available all night long and the internet worked very well. I appreciated the coffee, larger microwave, kitchenette and kitchen supplies. When I needed directions to a grocery store, they were prepared and handed me a paper with perfect directions to shopping areas.”

• Very comfortable bed, Clean room with all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay away from home.
• Loved everything!

“Unbelievably uncooperative when I tried to work with them after a flight for my boss was cancelled. I will make sure that no one that I or my company is affiliated with ever works with the Candlewood again.”

• Extra plush bedding, full kitchen, and full cable TV.
• Renovating tile floor in hotel entry/check-in.

“This hotel is the best! Everything was so nice. There is no pool. The bedding is updated and extra plush. Enjoyed expanded cable TV and full kitchen. Would definitely stay many days next time.”

• This hotel gives you info about food available and gives you one free drink from the cupboard.
• It was hard to find this hotel, the streets around it are not well lit so driving and looking was difficult.

“The room was very clean, front staff was very helpful in giving directions to nearby locations. Hotel had DVD/VHS movie selections up front for use by patrons and gave a complimentary bag of popcorn as well. There was a gym on site as well that provided for a complete work out. It was hard to find coming from the DFW airport because the streets are not lit well and there is a wacky intersection you have to go through to reach the hotel.”

• The room was very functional and had high speed internet.
• There was nothing that I did not like about the hotel.

“This hotel is more designed for longer stays that just my one night with a small kitchen and a pantry type establishment where you can buy all sorts of foods for your room, including fresh fruit and microwave boxed and frozen products. The gentleman at the front desk, I think his name is Mike, was very helpful and friendly showing me around the hotel before I went to my room. He was almost like a concierge.”

• While we were there, there was a tornado warning and it was nice when they came over intercom and let us know what to do.

“What hotel has no swimming pool. it was not a pleasant stay. just wanted to get away for the weekend and relax. this was not the hotel for that.”

• Quiet and convenient, complimentary DSL broadband.
• Mild urine smell emanating from shower curtain.

“For the most part, the suite was clean and tidy when I arrive. It has a little kitchenette with cookware and flatware, but I didn't use it over the weekend. The only thing that marred an otherwise pleasant stay is the mild urine smell emanating from the shower curtain in the bathroom.”

“Well to start I called they told me they didn't have double beds, that they could put us in a room that had a queen bed and a sofa that had a pull out, or a king room, when we got there to check in the lady was very rude, and told me if I wanted the room with the sofa it would be $30 more a night, then when I got to my room it was a full size bed, I called up front and they told me that's the only size bed they offer.”

• A few things did not work like remote control, sink broke.

“I asked 2 different workers about telephone calls made from my room. Both employees at different times said, "all calls regardless of local or long distance would cost .50. I had my cell phone, so I really could have used it for free. When I got the hotel bill the long distance call for 7 minutes cost $3.00. I had them adjust the bill. I received complimentary breakfast, which was excellent! But I asked the staff member who gave me the breakfast to tell the manager.”
