“The rooms are too small, there was only one queen size bed in the room, I was traveling with a friend so we did not have separate beds. Would not like to stay there again. Star rating should be a one, not two!”

“Our windows didn't have screens and room had bothersome odor. We wanted two double beds but the double bed rooms were booked even though we requested. So I paid an additional $ for a suite we didn't want (again - wanted two beds and ended up with one and a pull-out).”

“Well-lit rooms with comfortable beds and a full range of cable TV channels. Breakfast is acceptable and the room was clean and fresh.”

“Place was clean and had a nice breakfast for families in the morning. Negative: not enough staff to deal with situations during the morning rush. Alarm clock in adjacent room went off loudly for close to 30 minutes. No staff available to rectify the matter since she was busy at the desk.”

“Nice and clean, okay for one business traveler. The rooms were very small, almost claustrophobic. Mini-fridge and microwave oven left sitting on the floor because there was no room for them on any counter.”

“The hotel was very hard to find. It was located in the rear of a cluster of hotels, with only a small sign by the road (which pointed in the wrong direction) to guide you to it, the lobby was not marked at all from the outside. I drove around the building twice before I could figure out what door might lead to the lobby to check in. When I got into the room, I was extremely disappointed. The lighting in the room was horrible. There were two lights in the room that functioned, Both extemely bright flourecents. The room was way too small for the single queen size bed, desk and chair. One had to walk sideways throughout the room to squeeze between the bed & the desk, or wall, or small fridge, or ratty rollaway desk chair. Though the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the pillow's the best I have ever experienced, I would not stay there again, or recommend it to anyone. The motel 6 next door had a lower posted rate than the rate I paid and the rooms were just as clean, and much larger and less cluttered.”

“This is a great, clean, newly built hotel close to I 65 and state road 52. It's about a 20 minute drive to Purdue campus in day time traffic. Queen bed rooms are small, but cozy. The cushioned window seats are a great touch, as are the screened windows that open wide to let in lots of air. I have stayed here more than once and would recommend it to bargain hunters.”

“If your looking for a clean, neat hotel with easy access. This is it. But I was just looking for a place to lay my head at night. It worked. For the price.”

“Compared to other days inns, I would say this was nicer than most. The only negative issue is the somewhat inconvenient location. There are numerous hotels located directly on the main route. There a handful of hotels, Days inn included, that must be accessed off a frontage road. There was a lot of road construction going on during our stay and the lanes were reduced, so this effected how long it took to travel to and from the hotel. The actual hotel is well maintained. The bathroom is large and A/C worked well. Rather than just the standard bagels and 2 varieties of cereals and drinks found at other days inn for breakfast, this hotel offered a wide selection. They had a fruit basket with several selections which remained available throughout the day. Breakfast selections included numerous packaged cereals, Danish, donuts, bagels with cream cheese & peanut butter, waffles. And probably other items Im forgetting now.”

“This hotel would be acceptable for a business traveler or someone who did not require anything but the most basic amenities. It was quite clean and comfortable, just not family friendly.”

“This hotel was rated a 2.5 star hotel and does not come close to meeting that rating in comparison to other 2.5 star hotels. The price was high for the quality of the room. However, do not recommend trusting the ratings in the Lafayette, IN area. This hotel was a true disappointment; however, you couldn't have found a friendlier night clerk.”

“This is a clean newer hotel. One queen room is extremely small! Does have a mini-fridge and microwave, but it makes it hard to get into bed. Breakfast is okay, no warm foods. Plenty of tables for breakfast.”

“1. We indicated a non-smoking room in the reservation, but we were put into a smoking room. When we tried to ask for a non-smoking room, we were told they can not change it as we already booked. 2. The Days Inn's check-in time is 3:00 pm. We arrived at the hotel at 4:30 pm, but we were not allowed to check in. We were told we need to wait for about another 45 to 60 minutes because the room is not ready. While we were waiting in the lobby, we found several later comers could get check-in. 3. When we asked to talk to the Manager on Duty, we were told the manger was not available and he/she is on the way. We waited in the lobby for 45 minutes and decided to leave for dinner. Until we left, we were still not able to check in and the manager did not appear.4. After we come back to the hotel around 8:00 pm, we got check-in. But during the check-in we were facing a cold face in the front desk. This is the worst hotel experience we ever had in the US.”

“Difficult to find the entrance from the frontage road. Facilities were clean but the room was very small. Ok, for one business traveler but not big enough for a family or even two people.”
