“We got in very late but the staff was still fully attentive and friendly. It is easy to find. The beds are very comfortable and the room was quiet.”

“The hotel was nice. But our AC did not work! Tub did not drain. We were hot and tried to get ice and it did not work either! When we called the front desk with our problems they were no help!”

“This hotel is in a great location for visiting the KC MO area. The best hotel by the sports arenas. On par with Hilton Garden hotel. Water park facilities were closed for private party.”

“How come super 8 can offer free internet and you guys can't. That is my only beef. Must have free Wi-Fi internet!”

“Overall, I was very pleased with the hotel & found it more than I had expected. The desk staff was helpful and the free shuttle to the baseball game was nice. My room A/C failed and a repairman was sent on a Sat evening and had the problem resolved within 15 minutes. The only negatives were a decided lack of parking for hotel guests when events are taking place (there was a prom being held at the hotel on Friday evening and I could not park (legally) anywhere on the grounds, and the restaurant prices seem rather high ($10.95 for a breakfast buffet that is complimentary at some similar hotels).”

“This hotel is very conveniently located to I-70 and directly across from Kansas City football and baseball complexes. The rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. But be sure to read the hang tag on what you might assume to be complimentary water bottles. There is no complimentary breakfast, rather pricy room service, but there is a Denny's across the street. A water park connected to the hotel will be opening soon that will no doubt make it a family destination.”

“Awesome, everything first rate. Just wish the softball tourney would have allowed us to try out their new water park.”

“The location is great. However, this would not be my hotel of choice.”

“Easy access, right off the freeway. Free hotel shuttle drop off and pick up to the Kansas City Royals baseball game we attended. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Stayed here in 1979, when it was called the "Sheraton Royal". The hotel upgrades/remodeling since 1979 were very nice. Flat panel TVs, beds, lobby, etc.”

“Very clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful. Charges for incidentals that is free at other hotels (e.g. Fridge, in room internet, breakfast).”

“Sauna wasn't working, arcade signs up, but no arcade yet. Shower kept going from hot to cold. Had to pay for internet that had to keep getting new passwords for. Elevators took forever, the carpet everywhere was nasty. The hot tub only one jet worked, the indoor pool was cold.”

“Very nice hotel, the sports complex is within a few blocks. You can see it from the hotel. Good location.”

“Twenty years ago this was a Sheraton, it's passed through several hands to become a Sheraton again, but this time much more professional, friendly and attractive. The family water park (I didn't use) looks to be a great family attraction. If they could just eliminate the 10 minute wait for any elevator, this would get my highest rating.”

“We really enjoyed our stay as the hotel was very nice. Lobby was beautiful, staff helpful and they even had an internet lounge for the patrons. Now the problems: The elevators were very slow. The only problem with cleanliness was a big black hair by the sink, probably hard for the cleaning lady to see and when I was taking a bath, the underside of the stool had not been cleaned in the back. The rooms were not soundproof either. We heard a dog barking and people talking. Other than that, the room & restroom looked very clean, the bed was comfortable and the decor was really nice. Even with the problems listed above, because the hotel was so nice and the price right, My husband and I would definitely stay at this hotel again for the Royals Game.”

“The Sheraton in Kansas City is a great place to stay when going to KC to see the Royals play. They are currently adding a CoCo Key Water Resort to the property which will make it even more family friendly. I would highly recommend it for anyone staying in KC.”

“Great location for KC Pro Sports! Nice room. Comfy bed. All I needed.”

“The atmosphere was great and the pool and hot tub were great to relax in. Very family friendly, but also upscale in quality and services. It is in the perfect location to go to a Royals or Chiefs game and the drop off and pick up save $9.00 a game. The staff was very friendly and helpful. With Hi Def flat screen and free internet it was a great place to stay!”

“My stay during the weekdays was good. But during the weekends, lots of kids and their families stay for tournaments (like soccer) and they are very noisy from 4:30 am. Very noisy.” Amenities at Clarion Hotel Sports Complex, Kansas City
