  • Location
  • I saw a bug as soon as we entered the room.

“Old but comfortable.”

  • The bathroom was too small to open the door past the toilet.

“Check in was painless and efficient. There are many decent restaurants. The International Market and Golfing are both close by as well. If you are staying with children the mini-kitchenette was a nice touch. The balconies are very spacious with decent views. I will return.”

  • The location is excellent near everything. If you get rooms at the higher floors you'll have fantastic views of Waikiki.
  • Parking is too expensive for a budget hotel. The sheets do not fit the bed so are not tucked in. The bathroom is too small.

“Overall, I liked the hotel. The excellent location is great as it is close to public transportation. When visiting Waikiki it is not advisable to rent a car as parking is a premium especially if you are a budget traveler. Most hotels charged at least $10 per day that you can use toward your meals. I stayed at a lower floor so did not really have a view but if you stay here it won't hurt to try to request a higher floor like something from the 30th floor or above as you will be guaranteed a spectacular view of the Waikiki area. The hotel is a short five minute walk to the beach and to all the dining options in Waikiki or is a bus ride away to the Ala Moana Center where there is a food court for my fellow budget travelers. This hotel is greatly recommended for people that want only a place to sleep, as this is a no-frills hotel. If you are in your honeymoon or want a romantic setting then you will be better served with staying at another hotel like the Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton or Pacific Beach Hotel.”

  • Convenient location. Only a 10 min. walk to Waikiki Beach. Close to Kuhio making it easy to catch a bus. Hotel has pool and hot tub.
  • Bathroom is so small you can't even open the door all the way. Water in shower fluctuates between cold and hot and hotel didn't change sheets daily.

“Room rate was cheap but you get what you pay for. I stayed for 4 nights and I know they didn't change the sheets daily as my girlfriend marked an X on the sheets. Disappointed that the website said superior rooms come with King size beds but when I got there they were Double. Asked for King but staff said I would have to pay $30 extra a night. Overall great place to stay with a group of friends but not if you're with your girlfriend/significant other.”

  • Love the full size fridge, microwave, stove, 3 beds, etc!!
  • I hate paying for parking, so I fight for it on the street. No ice machine.

“Loved the amenities thrown in with this hotel. Can't beat the full-size fridge, microwave, pots & pans, stove, 3 beds, large room, etc. Security is tight. Great location. No ice machine though. Can't win um all I guess. I'd go back anytime though.”

  • The bed was comfortable. It had a fridge and microwave.
  • The shower didn't work right, the water would get really hot or really cold. The T.V. didn't work well.

“The hotel served my purpose.”

“Better than I expected.”

  • It was close to restaurants & shopping and easy to get to.
  • Nothing. Everything was perfect.

“We expected to find a run-down hotel. Instead it was first-class with us. We could not believe our eyes when we walked into our room and found it to be a suite, complete with kitchen. And since it was on the 25th floor, we had the very best view. We appreciated the security provided at the hotel and the closeness to all the sights & shopping in Waikiki.”

  • Small store inside building.
  • Needed to be updated.

“Overall the hotel was fine for the price. The building was old and needed to be updated. The staff was friendly and the location was fine. The store in the hotel was helpful as far as not having to leave the building.”

  • N/A
  • Extremely poor air conditioning.

“Hotel has an odor about it that makes the 'old' stand out. Air conditioners are small window units, too small for space to ventilate. Bathroom was not very clean and the carpet definitely needed cleaning.”
