“This is an older hotel. It is not the most luxurious, but it is a clean, quiet place to sleep. The staff was very friendly. We got locked out of our room and their was a manager close by to let us in. If you are not on an upper floor towards the front, you will not be able to see the beach.”

“The hotel was dirty and smelly. The staff was not helpful at all. I requested a double room because there was three people, when we checked in we were told there were no double rooms available and that we would have to take a king. We were promised a rollaway bed that at midnight after calling a few times and being told that we would get the bed soon, my husband went and got the bed himself so that we could get to sleep.”

“The room was typical run-down tourist hotel room with a musty smell. The 2nd floor room we had, had a balcony view of the parking lot and the back of a fast food restaurant, although the rooms on the opposite side of the hotel had ocean view rooms with balconies. We weren't offered a room with a view upon check-in. The location of the hotel, however was directly on the seawall, conveniently situated to all the tourist shopping, dining and beach access. Easy access to The Strand historic district for more waterfront dining, and the shopping areas. There are better places on the seawall, but the hotel would do again for a quick get-away.”

“Enjoyed the stay at this hotel. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. Ice machine on our floor could not keep ice. Ice machine on next floor was broke. Other than that it was fine.”

“The photos are deceiving! It isn't well kept like it appears. The continental breakfast was not enough food & was dirty. The elevator was blowing out heat, when it is 95+ degrees outside, like a furnace! The staff was incompetent. Just wasn't as nice as expected to pay for!”

“The location is close to beach, shops, trolley stop. The rooms have a great view of ocean and a small balcony to enjoy the fresh air. The parking was good with easy access to hotel.”

“Weather was overcast and windy, so the lobby was crammed at 3 pm. Several (and I would later become one of them) people had to come back after check in to get our keys. When I had trouble getting wireless connection, I used the handy card in the room, to be told they no longer serviced Ramadas. When I went to the lobby a very nice gentleman was patient while I finally got my computer to work. I was fine in my room that night, although I had to go back to the breakfast room in the morning to again hook back up. The room was dirty with used Styrofoam cups left on the TV. Although the rest of the room was clean. I did have a nice waffle in the breakfast room the next morning, although I was very crowded, again the staff was great, refilling the waffle dispenser, and Danish and forks and the like.”

“The room we were given was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but was heavily smoke ridden, complete with cigarette burns in the blanket. I was having tough time breathing. The ice maker did not work. In need of a paint job and a good cleaning overall, rooms and entire hotel.”

“I was upset about the aroma of illegal activity when we stepped out the elevator to get to our room for the first time. I was also upset the room service was not helpful and did not speak English. We had to sleep in a dirty room and ask for towels our last night. Our room did not get cleaned and the front desk did not seem concerned. I am not sure that I would stay there again!”
