• Big kitchen area.
• No amenities or restaurants.

“Not a bad hotel, it is designed to be for long term stay and I see that it is good for that. Kitchen with all the appliances, everything else was clean, but from fancy. It was a fine stay, nothing amazing.”

• Very convenient, lots of amenities, very quiet, great location, and I always felt safe.
• Carpet stains.

“Lovely, quiet setting, with easy access to East Columbus. Close proximity to a number of restaurants and grocery nearby. Amenities such as a fully equipped small kitchen, desk and chairs. Anything you might need at home you will find at this hotel. Also you will find the staff to be exceptionally helpful.”

• Infrequent cleaning service, no breakfast or concierge.

“This is an Extended Stay Hotel -- more like efficiencies than hotel rooms. So it's hard to compare it to a typical hotel, because practicality is of more importance than hospitality. With that said, the bed was comfortable and the room was very nice and well equipped for living (stove/oven, large fridge, full complement of dishes and cookware), the free laundry is excellent and the fitness room well balanced. Also great access to Columbus, airport, and surrounding areas. If continental breakfast and smiley reception is important to you, stay at spring hill across the street. Otherwise this is a great practical spot for a long visit, especially if you like to prepare some of your own meals when traveling.”

• The kitchenette.
• Hard to figure out how to get the internet service up and going.

“This hotel was very comfortable clean and convenient. I love that they have a small grocery area open 24/7 and the kitchenette really came in handy as well. The staff was friendly and accommodating. One thing I really enjoyed was the free movie selection and the DVD player. The room was nice and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. They also had a great exercise area although I didn't get a chance to use it. It is conveniently located near Kroger's and places to eat. I will definitely be returning next time I go to Columbus.”

“This hotel was a great for the price. Amenities were everything. The staff was very helpful when we had a luggage problem at the airport; general store/shopping area was a life saver since there are no restaurants in walking distance.”

• Not thrilled about the location, but it was ok.

“It was great for the money. I travel a lot and did not expect this nice, clean, pet-friendly hotel with kitchen for the price. Even the pet walk area was clean. Thank you!”

• The kitchenette and free washer and dryer use a big plus!
• I did have some difficulty with the air conditioning-air didn't always come on when I wanted it too.

“It was great having a kitchenette! The hotel provided dishes, utensils, cookware, etc. One night they provided subs and chips for us-the desk manager said every Wednesday they provide goodies for the guests. I recommend buying groceries-prices in the Candlewood Cupboard a little expensive to me. The chair and recliner were very comfortable. I noticed the lampshades were a bit dusty. I will definitely recommend this place to others-it was well worth it!”

• They utilize the honor system in their store.
• I liked most everything.

“I would recommend this place to anyone especially extended stay business travelers. It's the only hotel I've ever stayed in that utilizes the honor system to pay for snacks in the hotel store-that's unheard of now-a-days.”

• The bed linens were nicer than normal.
• Not enough silverware in the hotel room.

“This hotel is right off the interstate, it was close by the location I wanted to be in, and the room was very nice. Large bathroom, nice kitchen facilities that included Pyrex cookware and pots/pans with Teflon coating. They also allowed pets, which was a plus. Hardwood floors. Nice sheets/comforters, not like the scratchy ones you normally get at a hotel. Quiet area, nice 24-HR "pantry" where you could pick up little items. Pretty decent workout area, free laundry facilities.”

• Handicapped room was a bit strange ;-)

“The place is straight forward and clean. Plus, you can cook something on the cook top; store your junk in a full-size refrigerator and whatnot. Decent work-out room, laundry, and self service pantry thingy. Oh, yeah, don't forget to borrow a movie at the front desk to play in the in-room dvd/vcr combo. Oh yes, wired internet in the room at no charge too. I would do it again in a heartbeat!”

• The web site stated they had shuttle service to the airport and they didn't. A little disappointed, but I managed.
