• Spacious hotel. Nice pool with amenities. Great location and safe.
• The air conditioning unit was too loud. All through the night we heard the noise.

“Nice hotel, but not a "four star". Great location, okay service and safe. But the room was not luxurious as a "four star". It was standard hotel room.”

• I felt that they gave me a lesser room.

“The first room that I got didn't have any of the usual material with regards to room service, information about the city/property, etc. There was not a piece of paper in that room. Also, the outlet in the bathroom didn't work.”

• House Keeping was excellent.
• A lot of commotion after midnight.

“My overall experience was great. The room was updated and clean. The grounds were kept up, and security was visible. However, since the rooms were in separate buildings, there was a lot of noise from other guests that woke us up every night.”

“Very comfortable rooms and its off the beaten track so I felt safe coming in at night. Room service was very fast and the food was excellent. Internet access was not free.”

• Nice resort and
  beautiful pool.
• Hotel room was damp/humid not as nice as the resort.

“The room provided had an empty kitchenette with no amenities. The room provide had two double beds, not a single queen. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom nice with granite and tile.”

• Resort is very far from city, beaches, port.

“The only drawback was the distance away from the city as it was a single - night stay before a cruise. I wished we had more time at the hotel - it was gorgeous!”

• Great staff, very helpful, clean room wonderful main pool.

“This is a great place to stay! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and upscale. There are 3 pools on the property with full services at the main pool including massages poolside. We liked it so much we stayed an additional night.”

• What a value! Really large room with comfortable bedding. I-Pod docking station with alarm clock, huge bathroom, nice view, quiet, outstanding staff!
• High speed Internet access $10.95/day?? It is 2008 not 2002 folks. Charge $1.99 for local calls?

• All food areas were FABULOUS, even in room dining was the best. The gym was the huge, best for a hotel.

“We got to spend the day using the wonderful hotel facilities: the pool was beautiful with heated water and a lovely waterfall creating a resort like ambiance. The cabana bar staff was friendly and drinks were good. We dined in their casual restaurant for breakfast which was very light and healthy and good, we ordered in room dining for lunch which was fabulous especially the service over the phone and we enjoyed valentine's dinner in their upscale restaurant, Ireland's Steakhouse which was remarkable. The room was large and we had a balcony overlooking the pool. I just wish we could have stayed longer. The room had a medium size kitchen that would be very useful for a several day stay. The bathroom was spotless. The gym facility was the best we have ever experienced at a hotel, basically like a full gym and the equipment was top notch. I highly recommend it and plan to return for a longer stay one day.”

• Extremely clean facility.
• Not close to night life, common Ft. Lauderdale/Miami attractions or the beach.

“The hotel was very nice. However, it was not close to the beach or night life, which was something my husband and I were looking forward to. It was close to two very nice shopping malls and offered a free shuttle to and from one of the malls. The room was very clean, the pool looked lovely although it was too cold to swim. The hotel restaurants provided excellent food.”

• Very quiet and relaxing resort.
• Had window, not a sliding glass door on our first floor room.

“Very friendly staff, clean rooms,and very quiet safe area. Enjoyed watching the Super Bowl with other guest and staff at the Zen Bar.”

• Hotel and grounds were BEAUTIFUL/BREATHTAKING! Room was clean and relaxing. In a very quiet suburb
• pool is not temperature controlled, for a resort I would think it should be

• Beautiful facility, and well maintained.
• Too far from Fort Lauderdale.

“Beautiful property with Elizabeth Arden Red Door spa. Grounds and rooms well maintained. Quiet location. Good driving distance from Fort Lauderdale and the beaches.”

• We liked the room and the view from the balcony. The location is very nice to go for a walk.

• Nice facilities in/out of room.
• Very spread out.

“Room was packed with amenities. Tub and shower, bidet, large bathroom space. Room had a small kitchenette area including two burner stove top, microwave, fridge, and sink. Two comfy beds. Table to work/eat at. Dressers and nice TVs.”

• The pool was beautiful and the grounds around the hotel were nice.
• This was a converted condo developement and the rooms were far from the front desk.

“The hotel is a converted condo development and the rooms are in various buildings and can be a long way from the lobby. The grounds and the pool are beautiful. I could not get into by room because of a faulty lock and it took about 45 minutes to get it corrected. It is an alright placed to stay but not a typical Hyatt.”

• Great gym.

“Probably the best place I have stayed at. I like the location and the layout. If I ever take a week long vacation in the Miami area, I'd consider this place as it is practically in the Everglades.”
