• Staff, cleanliness of hotel and room, parking and location for us was great, bed was comfortable, food was good.
• I would like to see more selections on the menu.

“I was truly surprised when I signed in at the front desk, staff was very friendly and helpful, when I arrive in our room I was amazed at how nice, clean, comfortable and romantic it was. Romantic enough for us to enjoy dinner in our room which is something we usually don't do at a hotel, we go out to eat. Breakfast was wonderful hot, good and not just a continental breakfast.”

“The hotel exceeded what I expected for. The room was beautiful, staff was extremely helpful and the property was very well maintained. A breakfast was included, which I expected to be the typical continental with fruit and muffins. I was pleasantly surprised to find a full breakfast buffet that was very good. The only complaint I could find is the rooms do not come with two beds. I was traveling with a friend, so we had to alternate nights on the pull out couch. I would be more likely to recommend this hotel for couples getting away, as it did have a very peaceful, romantic atmosphere. It would be a great place for a wedding or reception. Having said that, I would definitely come again.”

• It has a quaint European charm. Free breakfast buffet is quite good.
• The environment around the location is not the best, but it's conveniently located right off the 405 freeway and not far from popular destinations.

“The hotel has a quaint European charm with spacious rooms. The locale is not so attractive, but it's conveniently located off the 405 freeway, with accessible routes to all major Los Angeles destinations. Good breakfast buffet.”

• Beautiful! Just BEAUTIFUL!
• Executive rooms/suites should have more beds!

“This is a BEAUTIFUL hotel with GORGEOUS rooms! The whole atmosphere makes one think they've left the country! I LOVED it!! The rooms are so nicely decorated and the beds are amazingly comfortable! The children loved the elegant staircase; they pretended to be princesses and walked down them in style! I highly recommend this hotel with its friendly, accommodating staff to anyone! Another plus is that all the shopping you could possibly need is a stone's throw away! And the breathtaking ocean at Manhattan Beach with its renowned Shell back Tavern at the pier is a few mile's drive. Enjoy!”

• The pool is very small.

“This hotel has nice rooms and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the hotel is right next to the freeway. The pool is very small and because of this I felt the room was overpriced.”

• Close to the highway, the beach and the airport. We had everything we needed in the room (i.e. microwave, fridge) and a washer/dryer on each floor.
• Very much an oasis in the middle of a business district. Patrons included mostly business people, flight attendants and wedding participants. No kids.

“Once your inside you forget about the surrounding neighborhood. When you first drive up your hoping it's nicer then the scenery, and it is. The food was spectacular. The service was great. I had everything I needed to accommodate my family. But again, it is not kid friendly. They were friendly to my child but not much for him to do or anyone to play with. Not a problem. The beach is minutes away and Disney is less than an hour.”

• Convenient Location. Excellent remodel. Very good restaurant.
• No amenities after 10pm. Limited cable selection.
