• Convenient, good restaurant on premises.
• The rooms designated as disability have no counter space I the bathrooms for toiletries. Also too much space for clothes (drawers).

• Room was big & comfortable, loved the separate living area.
• We've stayed at other hotels in this area and this was by far the best.

“For the size of the hotel, we are most pleased with how quiet the surroundings were. When we presented our Priority Club card, we were given a free breakfast voucher. Customer service employees were a pleasure with whom to deal.”

• Beautiful hotel.
• Parking lot is a long distance to elevators.

“As New Jersey hotels in close proximity of NYC start to increase in price, the Crown Plaza is a great money saving alternative. This is a beautiful hotel with several nearby dining options and close to Rt. 80.”

• They were so great they upgraded my room for free! Twice!
• Nothing!

“Love it! Nothing more to say! I would not have stayed there otherwise. P.S.- the Holiday Inn town is not 3 star.”

• Very friendly staff.
• No slip proof mat in bathtub and I slipped.

“Very nice hotel away from the hustle and bustle of New York City. Very Clean with extremely friendly staff. The only problem I had was that there was not a slip proof pad in the bathtub and I slipped and hurt my knee. Other than that, everything was wonderful. Would definitely stay there again.”

• Location, facilities, pool, sauna.
• No staff present during late night hours. no desk help.

“Tried to get in touch with hotel staff late at night. No staff available and no help at desk. Left phone message and got no response. Drunk and rowdy patrons to the club kept me awake at night and when I tried to contact staff there was no desk staff available.”

• There was construction going on the below floor.

“Very nice but for the unfortunately weekend that I picked there was construction on Sunday that was going on not to cool to have to wake up to power tools sounds.”

• The front desk staff was very helpful and nice.

“The room was very nice with a very comfortable king bed. The staff was very helpful. This is probably the nicest hotel in vicinity of Wayne/Totowa/West Paterson, etc. Highly recommended.”

“This hotel was undergoing construction. Hot water took a while to start up. Swimming pool was cold enough to choke a chicken.”

“Room was not clean fully every day. Ice bucket stay with a couple of days of water. Vacuum was not done.”

• Very comfortable beds with plush comforters.
• Loud intoxicated people in the entrance just coming from a wedding. They were not asked to exit while I was there.

“While the location of the Crowne Plaza in Fairfield was convenient for our trip, the hotel was underwhelming at best. Would try not to stay here again.”

• Extremely clean room, a must for us.
• Hard to get to if traveling on the opposite side of road. A real pain.

“Beautiful, clean room. Very comfortable bed. Some nice small details such as a curtain clip to keep out sunlight and a little kit of goodies to help you sleep. (Eye mask, sheet spray, CD of relaxing sounds. Would stay again if in area.”

• The hotel was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and helpful.
• The noise from traffic in the hall was very loud. The sound came right through the doors.

“We stayed at this hotel with our daughters wedding party. The location was covenant, easy to crossover from east to west. The rooms were large and comfortable and the beds were great. Good choice!”

• Non-Smoking room was a smoking room at some point. Bathroom smelt like ashtray after showering.

“Everything was positive except that the non-smoking room was a smoking room at some point. After bathroom steamed up from shower, it smelt like a dirty ashtray.”
