• Convenient to interstate, rooms very passable.
• Restaurant/lounge closed too early, and was closed Sunday.

“This hotel is fine for a business traveler who does not seek upscale amenities. Basic amenities were fine overall. The main problem is there are no eating establishments close by.”

• After driving for 10 hours of driving it was very easy to find, just off the highway.
• Hotel walls are very thin.

“This hotel met all my expectations for a 1 star hotel. It had an excellent continental breakfast which is nice when you are not going to have time to go out for breakfast. The desk clerk was friendly when we checked in. The room was clean. We were only there for about 9 hours just enough time to sleep but it was very comfortable.”

• Plenty of rooms & plenty of parking.
• Ice and snow packed on driving surfaces.

“This hotel is a good value for the money. My room was in the back of the hotel and was very quiet. It was also very clean and welcoming. The heat worked great considering the temp outside was in the 20's. I'd stay here again the next time I travel to Erie, PA.”

• Cheap and convenient.

“The hotel is right off I-90 and for the price it was very good. The room was clean and the front desk employees were friendly. The room was cold when I got in, but once I turned on the heater, it was comfortable. Small continental breakfast, but decent.”

• Room size was great.
• Heater didn't work very well; tub did not Crain while showering.

“It was bitter cold outside so I wanted my room to be warm. Turned the heater on full blast and the room only ever reached about 62 degrees. Could have been due to the draft coming around the window. The tub did not drain so I ended up standing in nearly a foot of water by the time I was done with my shower. Very disappointing.”

“This Travelodge was what we expected. The breakfast area however was very disorganized. It was located in the restaurant/bar. The hotel was close to the shopping area yet felt out in the country.”

“This hotel has a lot of potential and could do a booming business; it is as if no one cares! The room was decent as far as cleanliness, but no extra effort. I stayed two nights and all I received was clean towels; no more coffee for the next morning, no cups; just the bare essentials.”

• The cleaning staff was very helpful and good at their job.
• The continental breakfast was served in a filthy room, filthy rugs, and filthy chair seats.

“The location was the only good thing about this place. Handicap accessible meant a wooden ramp from the swimming pool area. Our room was the very last one down the hall. My mother is able to walk with a cane but that long hallway was a bit much. The doors in our hallway were all designated non-smoking but the smell as soon as you opened the door suggested otherwise. Although it has nothing to do with the quality of the hotel. The condition of the room for the continental breakfast was especially horrific!”

• The bed was comfortable.
• The staff.

“Although the bed was comfortable, that is about the only good thing! The staff was rude and disrespectful. We had glass fixtures from the hotel room fall when they should have been secure. The rooms were not clean in a timely manner. I would not recommend this hotel or any Travelodge to anyone!”

“My parents taught me if you can not say good things, say very little. First impression was a crude appearance, room was not fully prepared, Employees did the best they could with the training they received.”

• The restaurant was closed for remodeling and the lounge is not open on Sundays.

“Very clean, hope to stay there again, I would recommend to friends and family, hopefully next time we are in the area the lounge and restaurant will be open.”

• Heat did not work in room, sink too low, bathroom so , continental breakfast so .

“The hotel staff, especially during check out, were not at all apologetic that we FROZE due to the lack of heat in our room and it was a snowy night. The tub area looked old and worn and the sink, for some reason was VERY low, you could kneal at it and be fine! The breakfast lacked...a lot, even as a continental. We have had MUCH better selection at other similarly rated hotels.”

• Very good quality for the money. Very good Comp. breakfast. Just a very nice clean comfortable place to stay.
• There really wasn't anything we didn't like. A little confusion upon checking in as to finding our room, that really was the only thing bad.

“For the price we paid it was excellent. the place was clean and very inviting. The complimentary breakfast was very good, very good variety. The pool was relaxing. We had a great time at our 2 night stay at the Erie Travelodge. We would definitely stay there again.”

“This hotel room was not very clean. The air conditioner didn't work very well and there were cigarette butts and beer cans on the cement around the pool. I won't be staying here again.”

• It's easy to get to from interstate 90.
• It was dirty. The shower head had black mildew on it. The toilet was broke. The bathroom was in poor condition.

“The lobby looked okay. The receptionist was not very friendly. Our room didn't look very clean. The bathroom was shabby. You get a lot of noise from the interstate. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.”
