“This hotel was good for those who like practicality. We took advantage of the mini-kitchen, which was good for making simple meals. The room was not cleaned everyday, which from a green perspective, seems not wasteful.”

• The bed was so comfortable. I wanted to bring it home!

• Hard wired internet connection & very friendly desk staff.
• I heard the toilet tank refilling every hour or so.

“For the cost and location it was very fine. I was upgraded to a suite for free. The desk staff was especially friendly. I really liked the common room concept.”

• It served my needs, liked that it was larger than a normal room and had a kitchen.
• The refrigerator was old no door handle hard to get into & the air was hard to work & you froze in the living room & very hot to sleep in the bedroom.

“Overall very happy with the location, the price even ends up being less money. The bed and pillows very comfortable especially for a hotel. Will be staying there again. Have a granddaughter attending college nearby and travel to Braintree area offend.”

• It was close to the T station and there was an exercise facility.
• It looked like it was located in some kind of industrial park.

“This hotel gets the job done. My stay was adequate for the price. Pros: there is a small exercise room, laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi internet, a kitchenette, and a pantry with some snacks and essentials that one might need during the stay. Cons: The hotel is clean, but definitely not romantic or aesthetically pleasing in any way. It is located on a road that reminds me of a small industrial park, but it is still only a 5 minute drive to the T station.”

• We loved the kitchen! Perfect for preparing for the Marathon!
• Long lines checking in.

“We booked a "luxury" hotel at three times, and although the view of the Charles was beautiful, the room wasn't as nice as at the Braintree Doubletree.”

• Temperature was hard to regulate in room.

• I liked the microwave and the fact that you could get food there for it.
• There were no heavy curtains, people could see into the room.

“The front desk was great, and let me sign in early, the location was great. The room had lots of room, I would recommend it for anyone who wanted to see Boston, and wanted a comfortable place to come back to. The only complaint was the curtains, but maybe I got a flock room.”

• One of the hotel desk staff was very kind and helpful.
• The desk clerk on duty the night we checked in.

“The hotel desk clerk upon check in told us that there were no more roll away beds available. Eventually, he realized we really had to have one (there wasn't even a sofa in our room). I went upstairs with him and we found 3 roll away beds! I later saw the same desk clerk chatting with a girl friend who was in the lobby when we checked in. She acted like a customer when we first checked in but later it was obvious that he was trying to 'hook up' with this woman. It was very unprofessional and left a bad mark on an otherwise good experience.”

• Noise in hall at night.

“Great place to stay, right off of 93 and easy to find. Good parking and staff very friendly. Love the patio with the grill, the gym, and the little store. The bed was wonderful to sleep in! Overall, very comfortable in every aspect!”

• The kitchenette was spotless and convenient.
• Cannot easily walk to any nearby attractions.

“As a solo traveler, I found this hotel more than met my expectation. The room appeared to have been recently renovated and was very clean. I absolutely loved having the well supplied in room kitchenette handy for preparing snacks and breakfast. I usually stay at a nearby Marriot hotel, but I will definitely consider this hotel for the price and amenities. If you don't miss having a pool or restaurants, this hotel is a great value and a good home base for exploring the Greater Boston area as it is near the "T" station.”

• Good price, spacious room, kitchen well equipped.
• Bed was a little tired. Food pantry selections space.

“If you want to stay in Quincy or Braintree this is a good choice. Far enough from i-93 to be quiet but easy on/off. For business travelers the kitchen is really nice. Nothing fancy here but generally clean and well kept.”

• Great staff, nice to have a kitchen.
• Heating shuts off automatically overnight, very loud when it does turn on.

“Nice hotel, good location, just off the highway, near shopping, restaurants and movie theater. About 20 minutes to downtown Boston. Easy to find. Staff was very nice, kitchen was a great plus, bring your own coffee.”
