“The hotel restaurant was disgusting, the food was like eating a pan of grease that was at supper, the servers in the restaurant was slow and the food was cold on top of being grease. The breakfast was not bad, but very expensive for what you received. The waterpark was alright, but I don't understand why guest of the hotel have to pay to use it. In Duluth The Edgewater Hotel has a wonderful waterpark and you don't have to pay to use it. Also when we were there, the pool beside our poolside room was closed because someone had broken a beer bottle in the pool. There was also three other bottles in the pool and one in the hot tub. I will give compliments to the maintenance staff for getting the hot tub up and working. They did a wonderful job. They were the only ones that seem to care about the well being of the guest. My Overall experience I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless they clean up their act.”

“Carpets were stained and unraveled. Water stains on ceiling. Bathroom filthy and toilet broken. Blankets stiff and scratchy. Free pool outdated and not good for young children. Waterpark closed very early and costs extra. Spent one night out of necessity instead of planned 5 and moved on. Very disappointing and would never stay again.”

“Pros cons: 1) Nice rooms. 2) Water park staff was rude. 3) Friendly hotel staff. 4) Shower was broken. 5) Fun thing for kids to do. 6)Slow to fix shower.”

“The hotel did the trick and features spacious rooms. The air conditioning wasn't very good and I slept above the covers as a result but all in all it's what you'd expect from a Ramada. I wish the water park was included in the stay but it's an additional $13 per person; be prepared for that. I was satisfied with my stay but will try somewhere else next time I'm in town.”

“We were there for a family reunion and requested 4 rooms. It was a mess from the beginning. Messed-up check in, not enough rooms, dirty rooms and common areas, drunken people waking us up during the night on and on and on. The front desk worker was very rude and actually ended up speaking poorly about us after we left to return to our rooms. Too bad for him, my husband was sitting in the lobby at the computer and overheard the whole conversation. We were told by the GM he would be fired. Today we called back to report yet another problem and the person we were told would be fired answered the phone on 2 different occasions. Unprofessional from the top down!”

“It's a hotel in a nice place, where you always met wet and loudly children in the corridors, and where the events (Wedding parties and business) are much more important than the normal guests.”

“The Ramada with the indoor water park was a great outing for the entire family, from the 87 year old Grandmother to the 9 year old.”

“Decent place, but all non-smoking, if you are a smoker booked in here you have to go outside. Fifi has poor coverage in the room I stayed, had to go to the lobby to use my computer - not good.”

“The floor in our room was gross. No chair or sofa as described on internet. The entry ways into the hotel were very dirty also. There were shady people hanging around neighborhood. We were worried about our car and the items in it. Ramada should work on safety and replacing carpets. I would not stay here again but I would attend the Waterpark. That was neat and fun.”

“For the price we got it was great. Went to a Vikings game and just wanted a place to stay that wasn't expensive. The room was fine and the bed was very comfortable.”

“One problem - doors to get into building by our room were closed off due to painting and the desk clerk sent us there anyway - we had to walk around.”

“The carpets were filthy, the arm chair was stained beyond words, our "free" wireless internet did not work, the pool and hot tub had a black ring around them and the pool area was barren and unattractive, we never saw the Grand Rios water park since they wanted to charge us $15.00 a person to get in even after 6pm.”

“Its family friendly with nice areas for kids. Mine enjoyed the pool, arcade and play place. It was very family friendly but a little noisy. I would not recommend this for a romantic getaway or if you need quiet work time but for a fun getaway its a great place for the price. We're taking the kids back this winter.”

“Nice family place. When I got there, they took an imprint of my credit card for incidentals. I ordered breakfast. When they processed my bill the next day, they charged me for the room (again). I thought something was wrong and called them. They were very nice about straightening it out.”

“The staff went above and beyond my expectations. They helped us in the hotel and gave us directions to go to different locations around the cities. Rooms were clean and nice and the kids loved the pool side room.”
