• I liked the general area that the hotel was located and its close vicinity to shopping areas.
• There was a problem with my reservation, and the night manager or clerk was very rude. I actually had to stay elsewhere my 1st night and then check in letter

• The TVs in room and kitchen.
• The a/c thermostat doesn't work
  right.

“The AC units should not be regulated so much, room was at 74 and
I setup the AC at 68,
but never went less than 74.”

• I liked the suite style rooms with kitchenette.
• Had to wait 3 hours to get checked in because room was not cleaned.

“I would definitely stay at Candlewood Suites again. The rooms are nice and comfortable. I like to be able to get up and have my coffee in the morning and watch the news, with the kitchenette it was great. The worst problem was the gentleman who waited on us we first arrived. He told us our room was not ready and we could check in, in 1/2 hour. In all we waited 3 1/2 hours for a room. Check-in time is 3:00 PM we got in our room at 7:30 PM, nice!”

• Clean, large room.
• Was hard to find.

“Very nice room. Bathtub faucet leaked and made noise all night. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Checkout time was noon, but housekeeping knocked on the door at 9 am.”

• Incredibly convenient and comfortable.
• No vent in bathroom (got really steamy during showers), but overall excellent experience!

“This hotel was perfect for my husband and I and our twin toddlers. The kitchen was really convenient and the location was close to shopping, restaurants and conveniences. Definitely recommended for families and casual/business travelers!”

• FANTASTIC fitness room, free internet, near mall.
• No negatives about Candlewood.

“The hotel is perfect for our needs (biking fitness trail). The new equipment in the fitness room, the little store pantry, free internet, near Altamonte mall, Public, movies, etc.”

• Full kitchens in the rooms!
• Hotel only offers one bed per room!

“I couldn't believe the entire facility only had one bed per room. This was a problem. In addition I was overcharged on some food items and it took over a week to be credited!”

• Spacious room and bathroom. Very nice kitchenette. Full size refrigerator.
• Nothing.

“We didn't have a specific problem with the hotel. Except that I asked a non-smoking room and they were sold out of non-smoking rooms, so we had to have a smoking room. Since we are non-smokers this was very offensive to us. Even the sheets and pillows smelled horrible. We were very unhappy about it.”

• It was clean and had a great room and amenities.
• It is all about the sleep and the mattress was worse than a fold out sofa bed.

• Hard to find located on a street, that ends and begins in several places.

• The staff was very friendly and pleasant, nice rooms.
• Small parking spaces.

“The studio was very comfortable and included a stove, refrigerator, micro wave, TV, VCR/DVD combo, Alarm clock, Dishes and pots & pans. There is a work-out room, a laundry and a room to purchase snacks and other incidentals. I would certainly recommend Candlewood and stay there again myself.”

• It had a big rough in the corner of the room when we walked in the room.

• I like that it was clean and updated, and that it had nice amenities as well.
• The faucet in the tub was leaking.

• Very clean, more amenities than expected, very quiet.
• Did not have 24 hour front desk.

“We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, well stocked, and had a very comfortable bed. We liked the available free internet access, the TV channel selection, the neighborhood (behind a popular mall, close to I-4), and the amenities, such as a microwave and fridge. The only issue was the front desk is not open 24 hours. We arrived later and we were fortunate that a staff member was still present. We would like to stay there again.”

• A little hard to find.

“A great hotel for the price. I had to call to get directions, as there are a few turns off the interstate, but it was worth it. The rooms are comfortable and everything you need is right there - a kitchen, a gym, a small store to buy food, a place to walk the dog, etc. Will definitely return next time we're in the Orlando area.”
