• The swimming pool was a great hit with my younger children.
• 9 miles from Midway Airport.

“The only downside to this hotel is the distance to Midway Airport. That being said, there is a courtesy shuttle, so the impact is not too bad. Everything else was what I expected from a Doubletree.”

“I would stay there again. It was nice to get a warm chocolate chip cookie upon check in and the $10 off coupon for the restaurant was a plus too.”

• Staff provided unbeatable personal level care.
• Over priced hotel services, i.e. movies, food. Internet access charged for.

“Hotel tucked back in quiet neighborhood with close access to amenities. Community has beautiful architecture. Hotel restaurant and room service had excellent food but was way over priced. Internet access was not free. Movie rental over priced. Shuttle offered to Burr Oak Train station for easy, cheap, stress free access to Downtown. (If you are going downtown don't let them drop you at Rock Island you'll have to change trains & it will be double the ticket cost) Personnel / hotel went above and beyond. I had called for a shuttle pickup and had just missed the shuttle, so they offered to send a cab for me at their expense. Now that's taking care of your guests!”

“The service was excellent and the room was very clean and comfortable. The 24/7 workout room was great, and the indoor pool was warm. We never heard planes from the airport because the airport was too far away! (I asked for a hotel near the airport.)”

• Good chocolate chip cookies
• I bid for a hotel at MDW arpt. It took 45 min. to get to the hotel. The van ran 1 time/hr to the arpt. The room a/c was too noisey to sleep

“This hotel is not a 3 1/2*. It's inconvenient, noisey,smells bad,and was the worst hotel for this rating I've been to. It's not in the MDW area, as you advertised. The van service is not reliable. I waited 45 min. for the van. It took 45 min. to get to the hotel from the arpt in rush hr. I couldn't sleep because the a/c woke me up every time it came on.(even with ear plugs). It smelled like the filters had not been changed in the room (dusty)and I had a headache when I left.”

“This hotel is no where near Midway. It is 70 - count them - 70 blocks south. You have to drive those 70 blocks on Cicero Avenue, a busy street with a maximum speed limit of 35 mph.”

• Nice pool and exercise room.
• Too far from airport. Only good if you are driving, but near nothing.

“Hotel is nice. It was not near Midway Airport. But it was close to the 294 loop for those who are driving. That is about all it was close to. No shopping or restaurants nearby. Room was comfortable, and the food was good in the restaurant. But I had three mishaps with hotel staff - dry cleaning that never got sent, notifications that were never delivered (important ones), and room service order was messed up and took a long time.”

“I have stayed at this hotel in the past and I felt the treatment was sub par. Basic things like towel and blanket delivery were taking up to midnight, when request was made in early afternoon.”

• Very clean, staff friendly.
• Further from Midway Airport then I thought it was and no refrig. in the rooms. I had to request one for my meds.

• Friendly staff and helpfull.
• There was No Hot tub which was an important need for us.

“My Husband and I stay for 3 nights. On the second night there was a party at the hotel. We were woken up many times by people screeching and slamming doors as they sounded very drunk. We called security but they only came up once and did not stay to make sure things were under control. This went on till past 2am. I was very dissapointed and will not recomend this Hotel to anyone.”

• Cookies at check-in, nice staff.
• Too far from midway airport. 25 minutes.

“I like the hotel fine, it was comfortable and nice. But for being in the 'Midway hotel' area, it was too far. There was a shuttle, but it was not convenient to the airport area at all. It took up too much of our valuable time in the city.”
