• Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and cool.
• The only thing that kept my overall experience from being a 10 was the (moderately low) water pressure from the shower head.

“Candlewood was great - Staff was very personable and professional. Room was clean, comfortable and cool. The shower head in bathroom seemed to obstruct the natural (high) pressure from the water source. The bathtub faucet below the shower head was high pressure, but the shower head pressure was only moderate.”

• The room was small but efficient and well kept.
• Hotel check in staff was disorganized.

“The hotel is a low class business Extended Stay operation. It is fine for the business traveler but not good for a family or larger group. The kitchen was useful since there was not a restaurant. This was not senior friendly or wheelchair friendly.”

• The in-room amenities were incredible.

“This is by far the nicest, best-equipped studio hotel room we've ever stayed in. Very comfortable bed, VCR/DVD player, and the kitchen even had a dishwasher and a garbage disposal.”

• No pool, no continental breakfast.

“Great for business travelers. No frills. Friendly staff. I felt comfortable there and it was a great location for the attractions of Arlington.”

• Needed 2 beds and only got one.

“Very clean. Had neat grocery store where you could purchase items to cook in your room. We needed two beds and they were only able to supply a room with one bed.”

• Great location, nice room.
• The air conditioner was so loud we couldn't sleep.

“The air conditioner was a window unit, controlled by a wall thermostat. The fan speed was on high all the time and could not be adjust to a lower speed. The air conditioner was so loud we couldn't sleep at night. We checked out after the first night.”

“All I can say is this was an awesome hotel to stay at. The people were all friendly and made you feel as if you were at home. We didn't want to leave.”

• Friendly staff, clean facilities, close to attractions

“We stayed here one night when we got in early to arlington. We arrived at 2 am and were warmly greeted. The room was nice and would be great for those planning on an extended stay. We were very pleased.”

• It was a very nice place, They had a place were u could wash and dry clothes.
• The Air did not work right through the night and I was hot during the night and I did not like that.

“It was a very nice place to stay but they need a swimming area for there guest. And they need to fix the air during the night. Other than that I love the stay.”

• Nearby to major attractions of the area.
• Smoking room had horrible smell, air conditioner did not cool well.

“This hotel was great as far as the location. It is within a mile or two of Hurricane Harbor, Six Flags, and the Rangers Ballpark. The staff was polite and helpful. They have a trolley that will take you to the main attractions, which is nice. I don't necessarily think it fits the two star rating. Since this hotel does still have smoking rooms, it would definitely be in the traveler's best interest to call ahead and asked non smoking, as the smoking rooms had that distinctive (and unappealing) smell. Our room was small, and looked very dated. It was fine for what we needed, but definitely not the best.”

• Location, friendliness, free movies.
• Missing key TV channels like local and Fox Sports, couldn't even watch Texas Rangers (local team) without going to sports bar.

“Did give a blow up air mattress thank goodness. No Pool in Texas with 95 temp and high humidity by a theme park. Wanted to cool off in a pool.”
