“Located a bit off the major highway but near restaurants and a "dying" mall, this is a budget hotel for the less discriminating traveler.”

“Very mixed reviews on this hotel. Now understand why. Even though it is advertised as a suite hotel and most rooms have separate living areas or at least microwave and fridge not all. Evidently got the extremely small rooms with no frills. There was not even an ice bucket or ice machine. To get ice you had to disturb the guy at the front desk to unlock the ice machine in the breakfast area. The hotel did provide breakfast, just not very good. I would make sure I stayed away from this hotel in the future.”

“I was not sure what to expect for the price we got on the room and because it's not a major hotel chain but actually I was much more pleased here than if I had stayed with one of the bigger motel chains! The rooms were very spacious and the kitchenettes were too. Everything in the room was clean and the free full breakfast was really great. The lobby and dining area was very nice and the rooms were well decorated. I will definitely look for this hotel for future trips to Austin!”

“This "hotel" must have been an apartment complex at one time. The rooms were big with full kitchens, but access to the rooms was from the outside. I did not expect that. As a young woman traveling alone with a baby, I was expecting a hotel atmosphere. I did not like being in a separate building from the main building. I didn't like the outdoor access. I did not feel as secure as I would have been in a traditional hotel. Otherwise, it was great.”

“Awesome furnished hotel. We had everything we needed, bowls, silverware, plates, fireplace, refrigerator (full size) with an ice maker, oven, microwave, living room with a couch & chair, tv/vcr with remotes, you name it, we had it! It reminded me of an apartment I use to have. We were very comfortable in the room and would stay there again! Our kids loved it!”

“The hotel needed maintenance and a good deep clean. The walls were extremely thin, as we could hear people in the next room eating! Our neighbor guests were not being loud, we could just hear everything they were doing and saying. Literally, we could hear forks hitting plates as they were eating. I would not stay there again.”

“I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel, judging from the poor reviews it had received. it is off the beaten track, but I didn't think the area was bad. I don't know what a normal room looks like, which is what we were booked into, the clerk upgraded us to a suite without our asking. The suite was roomy and comfortable and above all clean! The living area had a kitchenette and bar, and there was also a sofa, chair and large TV. The bedroom was separated by French doors. The bath was clean, no sign of mold or dirt and we didn't see any "critters"! The decor is dated, and there was some sagging wallpaper in the living room, but it was comfortable and everything was very clean and tidy.”

“This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed. It may have the amenities but that is it. It is dirty and unsafe. The first room we had had been broken in to and the second room had faulty plumbing which over-flowed the next morning. When we arrived back after dinner, the police were arresting the occupants across from us. We were most concerned for our safety. I would remove it from your properties.”

“Older hotel needs some repair and updates. Most of the staff was great. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. Make sure ahead of time that hotel will honor any special requests.”

“Convenient location, well maintained grounds. Ample free breakfast with great coffee. Rooms actually two big rooms, living room with bedroom. 2 TV's. Lots of room to spread out. Fireplace could be nice if you're there in winter. Excellent value.”

“I would definitely not recommend this hotel to my friends. It looked like an old apartment complex they turned into an hotel. My "hotel" room was in the back which was dark and scary. Everything from the decor and bathroom was antiquated. ”

“The hotel consists of spacious suites with TV's in both the living room and the bedroom. Each unit is located in an 8 unit apartment style building with 4 down and 4 up. Parking is adequate although you may not be able to park directly in front of your unit. The check in are located in a centrally located building and the clerks are very polite and check you in quickly. The daily breakfast buffet was hot and consisted of a good variety of foods for all family members, from cold cereals and fresh fruit to eggs, bacon/sausage, country fried potatoes, and pancakes.”

“We were very disappointed in this Motel. It was not in a very nice part of town. It is an extended stay property and it looked as if people had been staying there for a really long time personal items on porches and sidewalks. Our room had cigarette butts all over outside. The room was not very clean or updated at all, i.e. rips and stains in carpet, cheap worn linens and furniture. Breakfast buffet was also pretty lousy. That's the first time we've seen scrambled eggs in some sort of broth or liquid. ”

“A flash back stuck in the 1980s, it was clean and roomy, very worn. Was fine for me, but would be hard pressed to recommend to others.”

“This was truly a good value except for 1 thing. I had to wear my shoes the entire time. In the bathroom, the sink leaked and the carpet was wet in the vanity and sink area. When I looked under the sink to see the problem, the shelving was completely concaved and looked absolutely disgusting. Needs to be remedied fast. I would not recommend this mostly due to the sink issue, but location was less than desirable as well. ”

“The hotel was not what I was expecting. We stayed in room #801 and one night room #806 had a big party with 60 black people in the parking lot, on the grounds and in and out of room 806. They were loud and it was very scary. I was worried about damage to our automobile in the parking lot. Also, four police cars had to come & break up the party. The complimentary breakfast was good. The bathroom tile had mold on it and the wall paper was coming off the wall. I am sorry I do not have better comments about the accommodations, but I am just telling exactly how it was. Thank you.”
