• The cookie that was given at check-in was a pleasant surprise.
• The AC was not working properly. It was warmer than I liked.

“We would stay at this hotel again. The room was clean and luxurious. The staff was very friendly. The location was very convenient to restaurants and to the highways for shopping.”

• Clean! Everything was clean and well cared for! Staff was great!
• Needs more coffee in the rooms.

“I was very pleased with this hotel. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was polite and eager to assist you. I was very comfortable and felt safe while staying here. It was just me and my son and I did not have any worries.”

• Nothing about the hotel-but Super Shuttle is another story.

“I am recently divorced so my future trips to Dallas will be bringing my daughter to see her father. I felt very safe and receiving the warm cookie on my arrival, made it extra special and felt like home. A friend of mine recommended this hotel and I look forward staying there many more times in the future. I really enjoyed the friendly staff and the king size bed OMG is GREAT! I have never slept in a more comfortable bed! Thanks Doubletree!”

• It was a pleasant experience in everyway.
• Our room was located at the very end of a long hallway and there were plenty of vacant rooms closer to the elevator.

“The linens were of a very good quality, and the warm cookies we received upon arrival were delicious.”

• The hotel staff was very proficient and friendly.
• The bathroom door was off-center. I had to pick it up a bit to shut the door.

“The location is excellent, the staff friendly and very helpful. The lobby area is beautiful! My room was very nice, though the bathroom door was a little off-set, so I had to pick it up a little bit to close it fully. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!”

• It was very quiet and comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful.
• The radio was broken in my room and the had to come and fix the heat, it was blowing out cold air.

“I would recommend this hotel to friends and family to stay at. The food smelled great even though I wasn't eating there. The service was pretty great.”

• The lobby/restaurant areas were beautiful.
• Few TV channels compared to what most of us have become used to.

“This was a beautiful hotel & the staff were very pleasant & helpful. The rooms were very clean & comfortable. Love the warm chocolate chip cookies. Would love to stay here again sometime.”

• Loved the room and the price.
• No refrigerator in room, no complimentary breakfast like so many others offer. Ours was a whopping $12 each.

“The room was very nicely decorated and we heard very little sound. The room was spacious, clean and mostly comfortable. The room temperature was a little on the warm side all night. We have been spoiled in the past with in-room refrigerators and offered complimentary breakfasts and or free cocktails in the evening. In all fairness a fresh hot chocolate chip cookie was offered here.”

• The cookies made it feel special; like home.
• From passing it on 635 it did not appear attractive.

“However, when I turned into park it was very attractive, especially the Lobby. Everyone so friendly. I use to stay at Hilton in Park Central but now will stay at Doubletree from now on.”

• Nice rooms & bar area.
• I think this day & age, wireless internet should be complimentary. The business center consisted of 2 computers in the lobby area.

“Overall I thought it was good. There was an issue with the sink drain gurgling at 5 am when the neighboring room was showering. Again, I feel internet should be provided free of charge in all rooms.”

• The bed was nice.
• I did not like the room carpet and floors in bathroom.

“Two weeks ago I stayed at a Holiday Inn for $45. This hotel was not as good as that hotel, but I was charged more. The Doubletree is not giving what is advertised. The mentioned that all the rooms were remodeled, but not everything is the room was done. Floors were not attractive, walls in bath not attractive, not free internet, no refrigerator or microwave in room. Charge too much and not worth it.”

• Lobby is under construction.

“Address is misleading. I thought because of the street name it was by the Vally View Mall and it was down past the Galleria.”

• The lighting was quite dim.

• The room was very clean and attractive. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows and comforters. We enjoyed the freshly baked cookies.
• The tub/shower was slow to drain. The TV remote slow to work, maybe weak batteries.

“We only used it to sleep, but thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff was very nice.”

• The bar and lobby layout was nice.
• Female bartender was short and rude with my girlfriend.

“Except for one rude female bartender (and that in no way ruined the experience) the hotel was everything I was hoping for and paid for. I had placed an order for a 3 star and got a 4 star and that never hurts anyone's feelings.”
