• The hotel was clean, we had no problem checking in, and our second stay was upgraded.
• Nothing.

“Again, we did not stay in the hotel much, just to sleep. The hotel was clean, well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed there the first and last night of our 5 days in Maine. When we arrived for our second stay, our room was not ready, so they upgraded us to another room. This was unexpected as I told them we were going to get something to eat and would not be back till later, but they went out of their way to make this upgrade. Very nice.”

• The location was close enough to bar harbor to walk into town.
• Fire alarms go off all the time due to steam from the shower.

“This hotel was "fair" nothing outstanding. I would not stay here again as there are several nicer hotels on the island. The fire alarm was the worst. If you took a shower and then opened the door from the bathroom the steam would set off the alarm that sounded all the alarms. This happened to someone everyday! It was terrible. For that reason alone I wouldn't stay here again.”
