“some one pull the fire alarm at 11:45pm. The hotel staff tried to reset it until 1:00am. It kept sounding off during that time. At 06:00am the staff tried again to correct it sounding off at that time also. When I asked why they didn't wait until after check out time to correct the alarm, I received no answer. I wanted a full/ partial refund to go along with the partial night sleep my family received, " sorry sir we can't do that" My kids we worried all night about a possible fire. “The hotel premises and staff were excellent. The hotel offers an adult (children free) pool time between 10:00 and 11:00 pm, which was enforced. The continental breakfast had lots of variety to please all. Enjoyed my staff and would stay again in future visits to Bangor.”

“Room was small with a king bed which sloped to the center obviously an older bed also the TV unit took up allot of the room when we arrived the room had been given away an the guy at the front desk just happened to find a king bed room by chance but we had paid for the room about 6 weeks prior to our stay we left a comment with Marriott hotel and they said the manager world call me but he never did thank you for your help hope this helps you with this hotel john.”

“The Fairfield shows signs of wear beyond its years. In particular, the bath tub/shower had lots of mold. The breakfast food was good, but the breakfast area was too crowded -- I never had a place to eat. They were repaving the parking lot and had poor communication with guests. Next time I will stay at the Comfort Inn.”

“Check-in was quick and easy though I know it backed up considerably after 3:30. Pool area was quite nice and our room was clean. The breakfast area didn't have enough space and people seemed irritated.Overall, it was a fine experience and I would stay there again.”

“It was a little hard to find this hotel, being located between several major highways, but well worth it once we arrived. Rooms were pleasantly decorated and comfortable. We were disappointed that there were few towels at the pool and the sauna was locked/out of order both days we were there. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the chocolate chip cookies on Sunday afternoon were delightful.”

“Hard to find room, room numbers were mixed all up. no directions to rooms anywhere, shower did not drain, knob cap with hot cold instructions on tub missing, heat didn't work and grill missing on hvac unit. manager did not call or come when requested. breakfast minimal and out of nearly everything. front desk associates unhelpful, unfriendly. should be a 1 star at best”
