We had a huge room for a great price!
The pool temperature was a bit too cool and too much chlorine in the water.
“The hotel is in a good location, walk able to most parts of downtown Portland. We were pleasantly surprised to have a room that was probably a suite. Though we didn't face the water, the size of the room made up for the uninteresting view. This is not what I remember any Holiday Inn to be like! The Holiday Inn By the Bay is more like a Hilton!”

I liked the view from our room and the closeness to everything.
There was a sock in the room left from the last person.
“It is a holiday. It provides the services needed and the location with out going overboard. I think it might be good if you have business in the area. We traveled up by train and was able to walk about the city and waterfront easily and also get a shuttle to and from the train station.”

Loved the restaurant, service was great and the people were very friendly.
Our room was not cleaned everyday, we were kicked out of the lounge because we walked in with a cup of coffee and told we had to purchase in the lounge.
“Our room was not cleaned everyday. The person working in the lounge was very rude.”
