• Friendly staff.
• A 'bare bones' room in a setting that has not been updated in years.

“While I expected a 3-star hotel, it was a 2-star accommodation at best. The room was adequate, but not spacious. No particularly nice amenities, but it was clean and sage.”

• Filthy, Chambermaids do a poor job.

“Good location in that it is convenient to highway, airport and downtown. Short drives each. The bed spread had cigarette burns in it. A soda glass from the restaurant sat on top of the TV for the duration of our stay. The room was barely cleaned each day.”

• Excellent staff, free travel to points of interest.
• Had to ask for microwave and fridge. Both were a joke.

“No way this is a 3 star. Tiny room, no ventilation in bath, no VCR, robes, little work space, 2 tissues in dispenser, most lamps blown out. Nice Nutragena selection with cotton balls and swabs (that's a new one on me!).”

“The hotel is somewhat run down on the outside and our room, while clean was shabby in appearance. The next door rooms were very paper thin too.”

• Convenience to transportation center and shuttle service.
• Understaffed for holiday weekend and slow elevator.

“The hotel was clean throughout, and there was space in the lobby for my family to sit around a table and play cards. While understaffed for the holiday weekend, the person at the reception desk was calm and pleasant while checking in a long line of people with the phone ringing the whole time. One negative: only one elevator and thus it was slow.”

• Long way from the waterfront and activities, sheets on my bed were not clean.

• Mold in the bathroom, stains on ceilings, broken picture frames, outdated furnishings, empty coffee containers in hotel lobby.

“This hotel was a disappointment. Terribly moldy in bathroom along ceiling and tile, outdated furnishings, curtains, bedcovers, old pictures with frames in disrepair, stains on walls and ceilings. This hotel is not maintained at all. Housekeeping was friendly and did their best. This hotel needed a maintenance staff to redo the rooms. Hotel lobby was nice and lobby bathroom was beautiful, but rooms are not nice. There was supposed to be coffee in the lobby. One morning the three canisters were empty. Upon telling the man behind the counter, he said he just filled them 10 minutes ago and to go get some free at the restaurant. The restaurant said they didn't have a lot either and would not part with any. The drinkers would come back to the hotel at 2:20 and be loud in the halls until 3:30.”

• The staff at the front desk, and restaurant exceedingly pleasant, helpful.
• Very far from Old Port. Shuttle service erratic.

“Rooms old, outdated. Walls thin. Location poor. Room unpleasant smell, carpet and bathroom dirty. Bathroom supplies minimal. Ran out of both Kleenex and toilet tissue. Would not recommend, nor stay here again.”
